Please feel free to install this carseat in your vehicle, after you have disassembled it, just to get a feel for what you will have to go through each time you would like to clean it! I purchased two of these seats in 2009 for my twins. I realized very quickly how cumbersome they are to clean. OK, there is "spot cleaning" and then there is "my child soaked through a diaper in this seat and now I have to disassemble it and wash the seat cover cleaning". Unfortunately, the latter seemed to happen quite often and I found myself in tears trying to get this carseat apart and then back together. The buckle for in between the legs is almost impossible to remove for cleaning...I have literally cried numerous times in frustration over this. I would have to allocate an hour to disassemble the car seats each time I went on a trip just so I could wash the covers and make them look presentable. Needless to say, I am ecstatic that my twins finally meet the safety requirements so I can put them in a booster seat that is less cumbersome and (hopefully) not such a pain in the neck to keep clean!!!

My 2 year old daughter is always uncomfortable to the point i have 2 seat in the back and get her out of her car seat =(
I need to get a new car seat for her.
Extremely bad purchase.
I do not recommend this car seat to anyone.

I loved still love this seat. I purchased for my daughter when she turned one. I am still using it and she is 4. Its super easy to clean.. very durable, comfortable. You couldnt ask for a better seat.

We have 2 of these seats. The first one we purchased when our oldest (now nearly 8!) turned 1. The second one we purchased when our son turned 1, 15 months later. We have never had issues with the straps. The quality of the seats has been great! They stink to take apart & clean but then so have the infant seats we've used. Is there a seat that isn't a pain to take apart to clean? I would absolutely buy these car seats again!

Product poorly designed! After a few monthes of use the straps begin to bind up. Taking the child out and putting them back in is a PAIN. The straps catch each other, cutting each other, under the seat. The latches on the straps (that secure the carseat to vehicle) are difficult to operate. Used this product for over 18 months now and intend to junk it.

We have had this car seat for two years and have no complaints! It's great to be able to recline a tired child. Gone from a 5-point harness seat to a comfy booster seat with the car seat belt with no problem.

We've used this product for 4 years and our 3 and 4 year old daughters are still riding around in the seats, which are comfortable and look good.

Overall, I think the seats are wonderful and I don't understand/agree with the critiques others have made on this site. Yes, straps get twisted and the cover can be a pain to take all the way off if you need a thorough cleaning; however, I'm certain this is the case for any car seat.

Folks who provided low ratings must complain about a lot of things that aren't a big deal...

We've had this car seat for 2 years. We are throwing it out because we are tired of struggling with the straps. They are always twisted and over time, the strap between the legs to tighten it will not pull tight, making it impossible to tighten. It takes a small miracle to remove the cover to wash it & put it all back together again. It is lightweight and easy to install.

I use this with my daughter. I have only used it for a year and 4 mos and it is falling apart the back head rest came off. my daughter is not large at all so it is the crazies thing that it would just come off just like that. It is light and easy to carry. I would not spend the money on this again not worth it I want my daughter to be safe.
