We bought this 9 months ago to serve as a bassinet for our son, which we ended up not using much for that purpose as we came to find out he wanted to sleep in his swing and be rocked all night long. However, after 3 months, we did use it quite a bit as his crib at home and afar. I like the breathable mesh which helped him to see us when we were in the room with him. I loved the price, and I am glad we didn't spend a ton of money on a fancy play yard that he probably wouldn't have cared about all the bells and whistles. And this unit seems to have very sturdy construction, as we have put it up and down several times, and not had a problem yet. A couple of downsides: it is heavy to carry around, but I assume most play yards are heavy. It can take a little muscle and finess to get the bed board wrapped around the frame when packing it away. There are a lot of snaps and clips to connect when using the bassinet, but I guess it just makes it more sturdy to hold the baby. The bed itself is pretty hard, but we added some padded blankets underneath of a mattress cover, and our son didn't seem bothered by the stiffness at all. Overall, I still think it was the right purchase for us.

We were looking for travel cribs and we decided on this one because it didn't have all the unnecessary frills and bells and whistles like all the pack n plays seem to now. I have also used ones in the past for my niece and nephew that have the latches along the top rails that snap in place ruin set up. Those were incredibly frustrating and broke easily. This has non of those and is so easy to set up! Simply unfold and push down into center of the bottom to spread and latch t. To fold it up, simply pull the strap on the bottom and it all folds inward.
My only issue is that it's not any lighter than he normal pack n plays. But it's not like we have to carry it far when using, so hat's almost a non-issue.

Unlike other play yards, this one actually seams to have been engineered! The triangles in the frame make this one SO much rigid and sturdy compared to any other play yards I have tried. When is comes to folding and unfolding, there is no comparison. In the store, I tried for a good 15 minutes to fold up and unfold the display model of 2 other brands and what pain. This one is to play yards what the city mini is to strollers. Practically a one hand job.

Folding: (1) Take out the matress, (2) remove the two rods from partial sleeves, (3) fold the matress according style, (4) fold the playyard itself by lifting the red loop in the bottom. The whole thing collapses once you lift the red handle in the middle of the bottom. To unfold, simple pull the ends out a bit and push down on the center of the bottom and it snaps into play, then put the matress back in.

If you have the bassinet part installed (really nice when they are young so you don't have to bend over far), you can fold and unfold without removing the bassinet by reaching through the whole in the middle. You remove the matress the same way, and reach through to the red pull handle. The whole thing collapses with the bassinet in place.

What this play yard doesn't have are gimmicky accessories like the changing table, or mobiles. After playing with those features on other brands in the store, I decided there is NOTHING to miss. Those features are so flimsy, they are pretty much useless. This play yard is no gimmicks, but very sturdy, easy to use, easy to travel with, and looks nice to boot.

Lacking space for a full crib, our son has slept in this every night of his 10+ month life both at home and on road trips, in hotels, and grandparents houses. I would recommend this without question to anyone shopping for a play yard.

The only slight problem we have had is that one of the two zippers on the travel bag popped apart, so we can only zip from one side now. Oh well.

Cleaning: in daily use for 10+ months, we haven't needed to do more than an occasional wipe-down. We have a waterproof pad, fitted sheet, waterproof pad, fitted sheet scheme on the mattress. This double (or triple layer) makes it easy to strip a layer in the middle of the night.

Although the mattress is not exactly the same dimensions as the graco and other brands (slightly more square - half an inch shorter in the long dimension, half an inch longer in the short dimension), the fitted play yard sheets fit just about as well on this brand.

We bought this because we were going to be traveling out of state and knew the people we were visiting did not have a crib. The mattress in this playard is one of the more plush mattresses out there...we also purchased a Carter's velvety pink sheet to make it even more comfortable and our 5 month old daughter slept great! Very easy to set-up and take down. Very sleek looking, just add a pink or blue sheet to make it your own. We own the matching travel system and have been very satisfied with that, so this was a natural purchase for us.

Unlike the other playards that I checked out, this one was the most sturdiest. It can also be used as a bassinet which I liked. Packing and unpacking is a breeze.

I think this product is perfect love the colors it's very sturdy,playyard sheets fit great, not to heavy,padding is pretty soft and thick, really easy to put up and take down,(I had one of the other models and broke at least 2 nail everytime I had to take it down or put it up) the carry bag is really nice and easy to use, I would buy this again but it's made so well I won't have to!!!! :)

It's a well made play yard and easy to use. However, it should come with accessories or the accessories should have been offered at time of purchase. It needs sheets and they are hard to find to go with the Aprica. It also should have some kind of shading for outdoor use. It's heavier than expected and the case should come with wheels.

It's a very sturdy product, although it's heavy. I felt it was sturdier than any of the Graco alternatives. We also looked at the Baby Bjorn which is great and very light, but won't last as it'll be too easy for a toddler to get out of once they can walk.

I love the way this play yard looks. It is gender neutral and the open sides make it easy to see baby from all angles. The bassinet does not need to be removed to fold the unit. It is easy to set up and take down with one hand. The mat is also padded unlike many other units I looked at.
