cute and perfect for my kids who are very young. they advertise the machine as having 2 usb ports for microphones. cannot buy a second microphone (that i have been able to find) for this machine. bought one that was usb enabled and it didn't work. emailed company about where to get another microphone and have received no response.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Pluses:
      - easy to set up
      - works (kind of) straight out of the box
      - looks nice
      - everybody loves karaoke!

      Minuses:
      - the default settings have the music too loud and the voice too soft (cannot hear the voice at all) ... turning the music all the way down and the voice all the way up helps some
      - the mike is tricky to sing into, has to be held just right to amplify
      - could not (yet) get a 2nd USB mike to work on it, could not (yet) get a regular mike to work on it either

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
