My Wife and I received the Baby Bullet as a shower gift. I would get a Baby Bullet again.

I use my Baby Bullet 1-2 times a week to make batches of food for my son...yes I'm the cook.

I make one food at a time and freeze big batches. Everything works well and the parts that come in contact with food are dishwasher safe. The system includes 2 extra silicon seals, I haven't used them yet but it's nice to know I have them.

It is not quiet by any means but I have never heard of a quiet blender and that's basically what this is.

Some people have complained about short motor life, burned smells, and chunky results when smooth texture is desired.

This is not an ultra powerful pulverizes anything system like you see at the county fair. But it works great if you use some basic common sense.

Burned smell or burned out motor, didn't add enough liquid.

Chunky food instead of smooth. Big pieces get wedged against each other and the container so they don't get to the bottom where the blades are. Chop things up 1/2 inch chunks and make sure there is enough liquid to blend the food. (sweet potato with no water = thick paste)

I have made smooth purees of carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, and peas. If you want it chunky just stop blending sooner.

I have yet to use the small batch bowl but I plan to use it to make fresh fruit for my son soon as I do not plan on freezing large batches of fruit.

I love the batch tray for freezing. The trick is to let it sit on the counter for 2-3 minutes before trying to pop out the food. I store mine in labeled & dated bags in the freezer so I can use the oldest first, also green beans and peas look almost the same. To keep enough food ready to go for my little guy I pop a frozen portion into one of the smiley cups, set the date dial and let it thaw in the fridge.

I wish you could purchase additional batch trays since I make large batches. The smiley face portion containers are available separately.

Do not waste your money on this. I originally had a magic bullet that worked great but wanted the baby bullet for making baby food because it came with all the cute containers and i figured the magic bullet parts would work with the baby bullet and i could have more cups and containers to use. first, the parts between the two are not interchangeable, the bases are different sizes, but that was not my main issue. i just mention it in case anyone was curious. so i sign up for the warranty online and i'm glad i did. my first base broke within the first month or so and the blender attachment shattered when it dropped on the floor, which i didn't feel should have broken so easily, but baby bullet replaced it and it was a fairly easy process. then recently, not yet to a year of ownership, but getting close, the blender blade started leaking. still under warranty, i sent the company an email because the customer service number was not working (and still hasn't after numerous attempts to call), and a week later they got to me telling me they would replace the blade but i would have to call and pay for shipping. so i try calling again and the line won't work plus i think it's not fair that i have to pay for something that is under warranty. it is their responsibility to provide a product that works. anyways, i never got through on the phone line, emailed back again and they again told me to keep calling until the line works. unacceptable. i wish i had never wasted my money on this product and now my husband is mad and telling me "i told you so" because he told me not to buy it. plus the motor is weak, much weaker than the regular magic bullet. find something else to make your baby food. the cute little faces are not worth it. A product should not have several problems functioning in less than a year of use and customer service should not be so terrible.

Mommies and Daddies please save your money! I have had nothing but headaches with my baby bullet- a Christmas gift that I was so looking forward to opening! My first blade leaked so I requested a second blade which is now leaking as well. Each blade lasted about 2 months before leaking and the first one even ruined the motor base. I only handwash all bullet parts, but they leaked anyway. Now that I am having problems with my second blade they will replace it (after waiting on hold for 20minutes), but only after I pay shipping and handling for their defective products.

Don't waste your money on this system... use the blender you currently have (or buy a decent one) and then buy Beaba storage trays (they are MUCH easier to get food out of than the baby bullet ones too!) And you can get baby food recipes for free from wholesomebabyfood.com

Loved the product in the beginning. I liked that it was easy and that I can make my own food. However after about 2.5 to 3 months later the plastic part of the puree base cracked. I know that it is covered for a year however their customer service department is AWFUL! The only way for you to speak to someone is to wait until they call you back. Now with two kids that is not super convenient having to wait. I usually miss the call and the whole cycle starts over.

Now today after 6 months the power base doesnt work either. So after 6 months my baby bullet is completely unusable.

I would not recommend this product and am currently in the search for a new food processor.

Hi,
If you are purchasing anything from Babys R Us please make sure you check that all of the parts are in the box. I got a baby magic bullet for my baby shower as a gift. Never opened it until my baby was ready to eat solids. To my surprise, when I opened it, the blades were missing. The store wont exchange it because its more then 90 days passed purchase day. Im stuck with a useless piece of equipment!!!!

I am so disappointed with this product and the company's lack of customer service. I received it as a baby shower gift and didn't even realize how much I would enjoy making my child's baby food. But I did. And I used it for about 5 months before it completely stopped working. It does not work at all and the company will not replace it. Several communications with a customer service rep were completely fruitless. Very disappointed and will now purchase a good blender to use for making my child's food.
