I used the old style of this product with my 9 old and loved it. When I had my two month old I chose them again. The ne style is horrible.we have the 4 oz and 8 oz. They leak terribly. When you test the temp or try to squeeze out the air about half an ounce at least comes out. And while feeding at least another half an ounce leaks out AMD the baby wears it unless you wrap the bottle in a burp rag. I will never get this product again!

We use these for the sake of convenience. Put a liner in, mix the formula, feed baby, through the liner away. No washing difficult plastic bottles. Nipples still have to be cleaned, but that is simple compared to trying to clean the several pieces in many of the newer bottle styles. This becomes especially important with multiples.

I had quite a collection of these bottles with my son. We used the original nursers. I think these where the best designed by Playtex (they have really messed them up in all the newer versions). I run a home daycare so I have had them all from the original nursers, to the designer nursers, the model after them, and now this current model. The reasons these stink are the threads don't seal as tightly as before. The old ones I could use a breast milk bag as a liner and not have problems (this is desirable to prevent risk of spills, and loss of nutrients from the nutrient rich parts sticking to the bag during transfer to liners). I also hate the lids on the two previous models too. These would leak if they would turn side ways in a diaper bag. On these new ones they must have thought they were being creative by making the lid fit onto the bottom (like the originals did), except they fit so snug it takes way more force than anyone should have to use to get it back off (therefore defeating this purpose). I understand business and understand that it isn't in their best interest for people to use bags instead of their liners, but instead of changing the design of the bottle caps to make them impossible to use with the bags they should have produced their own brand of bags (using the liners is not very useful in terms of preventing freezer burn, and saving freezer space). My other issue with this new business strategy is these bottles cost about as much as their other bottles (if not more) and their other bottles don't require constant purchase of liners. So what is to draw people to buy these now? You have made the threads so terrible even your liners leak when trying to push all the air out. I have had them leak where the cap meets the bottle, and where the nipple comes out of the cap. I will be returning this Newborn Gift Set!!

My mother used these bottles when i was a baby and she kinda was relentless about me using them for my son so i gave in and gave them a try.... I absolutely LOVE them! they are so easy to use and and my son had less gas and spit up less. It also made me feel that by using a new liner every feeding that it was just cleaner than using a reusable bottle and a lot less clean up. the only thing is i would not use the latex nipples again they dont last very long even though my son seemed to prefer those. If your looking for a great bottle definitely reccomend trying these

I have use this product(the old version)with my other 2 kids and i love it but i am disappointed with this new version. The formula would leak and you could not really take the air out like you can on the old version otherwise, it will leak out. Another user had said she put it on the dishwasher and that was the reason but i never put it on the washer. The only reason i give it a 3 star is for the convenience of not washing a bottle otherwise i would not use this product again.

MY HUSBAND AND I TRIED EVERY KIND OF BOTTLE TO HELP OUT DAUGHTER WITH COLIC. AND EVERY OTHER BOTTLE WE TRIED MADE IT WORST. AFTER FEEDING ALL SHE WOULD DO WAS SCREAM AND CRY AND AT NIGHT SHE WOULD BE UP FOR HOURS. AFTER TRYING PLAYTEX, FEEDING SHE NOW SMILES AT YOU. AT 7 WEEKS SHE NOW SLEEP ALL NIGHT LONG. LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

These bottles are wonderful. I tried multiple different types of bottles and these seem to work the best for my first born who would spit up a lot. It was easy to squeez the air out of the bottle and I never had any leakage problem. Another plus is how easy it is to clean! I hated the Dr. Brown bottles with all the little pieces that you have to wash and attach and with a newborn it was just a pain. The only issue I had was measuring the water using these bottles since with the linears it was hard to tell how accurate the ounces were. So, I just ended up buying some cheap gerber bpa free standard bottles to use to measure the water. To make things easy this was my set up: I would have about 6 of my playtex bottles with linears and formula pre-mesaured and ready to go with the lid on. Then I would have 6 of my cheap gerber standard baby bottles (nipples removed) with the water measured already to the correct ounce with the lid on. So when its time for a feeding all i have to do is grab my playtex with the pre-measured formula already in it and pour the pre-measured water into the playtex bottle, cap it and shake it! All done! So by the time i reached the 5th bottle i would start washing and prepping my bottles again. and you really didn't have to wash the gerber bottles since it was only filled with water so you'll just be washing the playtex cap, nipple and the ring. Saved me a lot of time and when your baby is screaming and crying for a bottle this was a fast way to do it! Plus it was easy for my mom to feed the baby or my husband since everything was layed out and there was no confusion on how much water to be measured or how much formula needed to be placed. This method worked great during the night and so far i used this for my daughter and my son and will be doing the same thing for my 3rd child. One other bad thing is that the linears do get expensive and they go fast but for the ease and convience i think its worth it.

I used these bottles for both of my babies! My husband and I don't have any family close to help out so the convenience of the liners and not having to constantly wash bottles were great. I breastfed/pumped for both babies so the fact that I could pump right into the liners (with the breastfeeding kit) was also another plus!

I love this bottle!!! I also breastfeed and we had no trouble with nipple confusion. I love the design of the nipple; it is more like a breast. Also my daughter has not had any problems with gas or spit up; she is close to 6 monyhs old. I will use them for my next child also.

I am using a bunch of different bottles and cleaning is a pain -- just ordered a sterilizer from [@]. The Playtex nurser is great for ease of use and clean-up however,because of the flexibility of the liners, I can't really tell how much my LO has taken in, also I have to mix the powdered formula in a measuring cup and then throw it in the liner, because I can't really be sure of how much liquid is in the liner. Also never boil the holder it melts -- my fault!!
