Product Description

Our Dr. Browns 8oz 3pk Blue Bottles feature a patented two-piece internal vent system that works unlike any other bottle design. The vent system fully vents our bottle for vacuum-free feeding, which we call positive-pressure flow, similar to breastfeeding. As the baby feeds, air is channeled from the nipple collar through the vent system, bypassing the breastmilk or formula, to the back of the bottle. Air never mixes with the breastmilk or formula which minimizes oxidation and helps maintain essential nutrients like vitamins C, A and E. Babies feed more comfortably because the vent system allows them to nurse without fighting the negative effects of a vacuum or the discomfort of ingesting air bubbles. This helps to reduce feeding problems like colic, spit-up, burping, and gas. The breastmilk or formula flows freely, without nipple collapse.

Features

  • Vacuum free feeding - like breastfeeding
  • Helps maintain vitamins C, A & E plus lipids
  • Easy to clean, dishwasher safe.BPA Free

After trying many bottles that did not have as many parts (with all 3 of my children), I always ended up going back to Dr. Brown's bottles! I used them until my babies were about 6 months old or so, when they can transition to some solid foods and can better accept a "regular" bottle, such as Gerber or Evenflo. It only takes a minute or two to clean the extra vent pieces, and you just have to make sure that if you're mixing powdered formula & water when you're out and about, that you have the storage caps with you and have a clean surface to put the vent pieces down on while you're mixing the bottle up. They are mid-priced, not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive, and they do not leak while you're feeding your baby and the best part--these bottles do not cause gas or discomfort! I've never needed to use burp cloths with any of my kids while using these bottles, they are wonderful. Worth the extra few minutes of cleaning or the extra effort it takes to mix formula up when you're out.

My wife and I have 4 kids and we've used all sorts of bottles. Dr. Brown bottles have been the most unique by far. We have about 20 of them in 4 oz and 8 oz sizes. The bottles have 2 good features other bottles just don't have. First, they're bigger so it's easy to fit 8 oz worth of formula with the water without getting near spilling it. Second, they don't create a vacuum while your baby is eating. Of course this hasn't stopped tummy aches nor their spitting up (in our children, they have no health issues as a note). It also hasn't alowed them to eat more between burps. What it does allow is for them to eat a little faster. There are also 2 drawbacks to the bottles: they're complicated parts are harder to clean, they're exoensive, and they leak. They leak more than any bottle we've ever used. Roughly 80%-90% of our Dr Brown bottles leak. It's infuriating to feed your child and get them, and yourself, wet while doing it. Because if this we had to go find a better bottle which, oddly enough, happens to be the cheap bottles at Walmart. They're cheaper, easier to clean, and they hold up for years. They also accomplish a feat of engineering Dr Brown's bottles cannot- they don't leak! The only reason we keep them is because my wife is stuck on the status symbol of, "Dr Brown's bottles."

The best feeding bottle brand

By marcie

from Laguna, Calabarzon, Philippines

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr Brown's 8 Ounce Bottle 3 Pack - Blue:

I had difficulty in feeding my son formula milk. I tried a number of brands of feeding bottle, most claiming to prevent colic or gas but didn't help. When I used Dr. Brown's, I never had to think of all sorts of techniques just to let him drink his milk. Thank you Dr. Browns', hopefully you'll have the Options bottle available in the Philippines.

    Hard to read the ounces

    By Stefanie

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr Brown's 8 Ounce Bottle 3 Pack - Blue:

Love Dr. Brown bottles!!! The only thing I don't like about these specific BLUE bottles is it is very hard to read the ounce markings. Especially if you are doing middle of the night feedings. I always have to turn on a light or flash my phone to see how much my babies have drank.

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr Brown's 8 Ounce Bottle 3 Pack - Blue:

My son loves Dr. Brown's bottles. We started him on Dr. Brown's and another brand that I won't mention and he definitely prefers Dr. B's. He is not fussy like he was with the other bottles. He would cry all throughout tr feeding with the others. With Dr. B's he can eat his meal in peace. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr Brown's 8 Ounce Bottle 3 Pack - Blue:

I adore dr. Brown's bottles. I used them with my daughter 4 years ago and I was more than excited to use them again with my son. Yes, they have more pieces to clean than your average bottle, but their ventilation system makes for happy baby tummies!

        Great bottle one downside.. Sometimes

        By MommieAnnie

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr Brown's 8 Ounce Bottle 3 Pack - Blue:

I have a 5 mnth old and have only used 2 different bottles she's not gassy or colicky just the normal gas/ burps nothing extreme though but she does let me know during feeding that she has to burp because she'll start shaking her head left n right. I do really like the wide necked bottle . The only downside is it leaks from the rim by the white venting part . I often mix my formula with a fork then skake it then unscrew the cap wah the white part and the pink vent tube to make sure it doesn't have milk in it. Even then it sometimes leaks. But I still love it!!

The bottles look a lot more complicated than they are. They are actually really easy to use and clean and store and she is so much less gassy than when she used the other brand. We love Dr. Brown's!

        Huge improvement

        By Katieharris

        from Griffin, GA, United States

Comments about Dr. Browns Dr Brown's 8 Ounce Bottle 3 Pack - Blue:

My son was exclusively breastfed until 3 months. I began to pump and bottle feed using Philips Avent bottles. He immediately began to reflux his milk. This went on for a few weeks. When I returned to work my milk supply diminished over time and I had to formula feed. My son developed sever digestion issues. He would almost always spit up after every feeding. After visiting with the dr we decided to put him on medication to help control the reflux. Around 6 months of age he Began to vomit severely after one or two feedings a day and then by 7 months he was refusing to eat from a bottle. He never would eat more than 4 oz at a time before that. Finally my doctor recommended switching bottles. She named off a few brands. I had heard some great things about dr Browns bottles from other friends who have infants. I wish I would have made the switch sooner. Upon his first feeding from the dr Browns bottle he had eaten an entire 6 oz bottle with absolutely no gagging, coughing, or spitting up. I was still hesitant but after an hour with no vomiting episode I was sold. We went and purchased 10 more. Now only two weeks later he is up to 8 oz per feeding and hasn't spit up or vomitted one time. I'm hoping that this leads to him being taken off the medication at his next check up. Thank you for making such an awesome product!

My fiancé and I bought these as our baby was having problems digesting formula! He was very colicky after he ate as he was getting a lot of air through our regular bottles. We bought these bottles and it fixed everything! He is not colicky anymore after he eats! Its beautiful! It was like a whole new baby!
