With my first child I bought a Medela pump but I ended up using Tommee bottles and loving them. So, for my second child I bought the Tommee pump. It works well & I get enough milk each time I pump, but there are a lot of parts that become a pain to clean and put back together each time. There are 8 parts for each side. Also, the tubing from the pump to the bottle disconnects very easily. Last, the battery never charged from the time I took it out of the box, I had to be plugged into the wall. Luckily, I bought the protection plan & I was able to get a new one. I suggest purchasing the plan if you go with this pump.

This is a horrible pump, don't buy it. I've had problems with it since the day I bought it. The tubes come off the tops during pumping, the suction is horrible when using both pumps. The slightest touch makes the speed go up but when you actually want the speed to go up it doesn't work. The pumps fall off and today the timer part of the pump started rattling. I got this with a gift card so I'm glad I didn't spend my money but so mad that I wasted a gift card on a cheap item!

I am unable to feed my baby directly, I have to pump & feed her a bottle. This pump is the worst pump ever & of course I can't return it because I have used it. There is not enough suction when pumping both breasts at the same time. There is more suction when you only have one suction cup hooked to the pump and who wants to do that?? The whole point in buying this pump was the convenience of pumping both breasts at the same time!! I should have gone with the Medela pump, I used it in the hospital and I know it works the way a pump should! Now I have to spend 40+ minutes pumping for 2-3 ounces. It is ridiculous!! Please do not waste your money. I wish I had listened to other reviews but I was wowed by the Tommee Tippee products & didn't listen.

I am stock with it because it doesn't pump. Called them and they refuse to take it back and return my money back. Dont buy it because it doesn't have a strong suction, is heavy and takes a long time to assemble and de-assmble. G

Pros: Long battery life so I can pump 10 minutes about every 4 hours for 2 days straight and only loose 2 bars of power out of the 3. Pump turns on by sliding the cover up so there are no buttons that can accidentally get bumped to turn your pump on when you're not looking. Tons of storage options. Lots of extras that other brands don't include but you'll find yourself using. Inconspicuous carry bag. Durable valves and tubing. Few parts to mess with. Silicone horns for those of us with latex sensitivities. Horns are also soft and warm up quickly while pumping. Variable settings help ease breast soreness while still enabling milk production when first beginning breast feeding and your nipples need a break from baby's strong draw. 5 levels of draw strength allow your breasts time to adjust to breast feeding. Time display helps keep track of how long you've pumped when at work.

Cons: Daily use x 3 months and pump cover is now vibrating more it seems so makes more noise when pumping at work. Storage pod caps don't screw on and will pop off if you're not careful when lifting from the top or warming milk in these containers. Bottles tip over easily when empty or half full and horn is attached if the stands aren't used that fit onto the bottom of the bottles. If battery goes dead you'll only be able to use with wall cord until you unscrew the battery compartment door on the pump, take the battery out and put it back into the pump.

Suggestions: Wish TT made a special bra to hold the bottles on (try holding both bottles onto breasts while operating pump at the same time). Another cool thing would be a hip pouch so I could carry the pump hands free while catching up on housework like washing dishes and ironing. That way I wouldn't have to stop absolutely everything I'm doing to pump. Tubing needs to be about a foot longer so that pump can be set on a side table or desk instead of in lap.

When first purchased I loved this pump. The flanges are comfortable, and even though there are several pieces it is easy to take apart and reassemble for cleaning. I found the extra accessories (especially the milk pods) to be very helpful. I also like the fact that the pump is highly portable and is not attached to the tote bag it came with. That said, the suction is about half as strong when used with the battery option versus when it is plugged in. I'm a stay at home mom so for the most part I just nursed my daughter directly and only used the pump when I was feeling uncomfortable due to an oversupply of milk. In the grand scheme of pumping that means it was hardly used at all. Once, maybe twice a day, if that. My daughter is now 6 months old (this is how long I've had this pump) and now the suction is hit-or-miss. I have to place the flanges in the EXACT right position or else my milk will be running down the front of me instead of being sucked down into the container in the pump. Sometimes it will work perfectly, other times it won't, which is frustrating to say the least. Another thing that seems to be failing is the touch pads that increase the suction setting. To turn the pump on you slide the face plate up. This gets you setting 1 and exposes the touch plates for settings 2-5. When I press the plate to go to setting 2 the light will come on and then immediately shut off and the suction doesn't increase. Repeat this 2 or 3 times and then it'll finally shift to the next setting. This is also inconsistent in how many times it happens. Thankfully I purchased the buyer replacement plan. I've just put in my claim, so as soon as the check arrives I'll be getting a new (and different) pump. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the accessories rocked, but I definitely would not recommend this pump. It couldn't even stand light-use. If you're looking for a work-horse pump to get you through heading back to work definitely invest in something higher quality.

This product seems to work very well at times and very poorly at times. I had to return it 3 times due to it suddenly having very low suction and not working properly and a fourth time because the cord broke. It is comfortable to use, but low quality.

I did some pretty intense research while looking at pumps and decided that the Tommee Tippee looked easy to use and more comfortable than some other pumps I'd looked at.

I've been using my pump for almost 7 months and it's very nice. It's pretty comfy and I'm able to slip it into my nursing bar to go hands free. I'm currently a C-cup, so I that might be more difficult for those who are more well endowed. I'd be lying if I claimed that it feels the same as my daughter's sucking, but it's not unpleasant. I find that I need to use the highest setting (5) to get good results.

There are a couple of spots that are difficult to get clean, but my bottle brush gets then pretty well. Between pumpings at work, I rinse it and let it dry in the bag. I wash it by hand each night and sanitize either in the dishwasher or with the Tommee Tippee microwave sanitizer once a week.

I really like being able to pump directly into the bottles because I can see how much I've collected while I'm pumping.

I'm very happy with it & my daughter is thriving, so she's happy as well.
