This is a great game but not a normal Pokemon game (so if your kid is clamoring for Pokemon I'd start with Pokemon White or Black).

You get small toy Pokemon and use them to real-time battle and protect the land from the evil influence of the Dark Rust (It's all VERY kid friendly). As you play you get more Pokemon and more battle options. Getting extra duplicate pokemon even helps you as you can release them for in game cash or use them later to teach other Pokemon moves.

After you beat the normal story you can even keep playing and find new and stronger toy Pokemon, giving it a large amount of replay value. Add to that a full multiplayer mode so kids can battle their friends and you have a great game for any age!

Love the standard Pokemon games.
This one doesn't cut the mustard.
You start w/ one pokemon...battle...end up with over thirty after playing for 15 minutes. Good you say? Not when it's next to impossible to weed out unwanted/same pokemon after every single battle. It really gets way too
complicated to concentrate on developing the pokemon you actually want to keep on your team.
The short of it is, my Nephew tossed it to the side after about 30 minutes. I returned it for something else the next day.

You cost me more money as you said this was in stock, then you shipped the one at full price plus shipping and sent me an email saying this was cancelled after you shipped the other game. I felt like you didn't want to give me the half off, so I had to buy this one from [@]. This is the second time you have done this to me and I will never order anything from you again, and I will make sure all my friends know how you treat online ordering since I have nine grandchildren who live in different states.

Ordered online for store pickup. Instead of getting the "item ready" email, I got the "we could not fulfill your order" email. Clearly they either have an inventory management problem, or preferred to sell them to in-store shoppers rather than hold them for pickup.To top off my experience, despite repeated attempts, I cannot seem to get off the ToysRUs spam mail lists.I ended up getting this item at [@]. Less money, faster delivery, no spam.

Alright, this is a perfect game for kids ( or kid)who get good grades. If your kids(ounce again. or kid) like 3D and pokemon, this is the perfect game. I don't really like that all the pokemon aren't in the game. I'm a pro jr. when it comes pokemon lovers.
