Ok, what do you expect from a helicopter that is advertised for kids 8-10? What are you looking for? If you are looking for a copter that flies great, then why are you shopping at Toys-R-Us? If you are looking for a copter that will provide fun and a challenge for an adult, then why are you buying one with a crash cage designed for 8-10 year olds?

This helicopter is built for young kids... and what are those kids going to do with it? Crash it. Simple as that. This is the third helicopter that I've bought. The first two were for me. The first one was ruined after the first crash. This one does EXACTLY what I wanted for my 8 year old. It flies, keeps him entertained, and when he crashes it (every 5 minutes) it either lands or he keeps flying it. I didn't buy it for it's grace under flight, but rather for durability. If I had spent more, it was have been busted long ago.

The product constaALL THE PROBLEMS WITH THE WORSE PRODUCT I EVER PURCHASED!:

- The Trim needed to be set every time the helicopter took off.
- Once trim was set (after several repeated and hard presses to the "Left" adjust) The lousy thing still would make a right turn.
- Once all that was adjusted, it still wouldn't fly when I pressed the forward button (or the "rapid forward" button) it would fly straight alright, straight to the left!
- With the Heli-cage installed, it still tweeked my rotating wing.ntly

Uncontrollable. Huge disappointment. Not only does it spin uncontrollably, once you bump into something it wobbles out of control due to the "floating" magnet design used to angle the main rotor. The cage deforms easily and hits the main rotor, prevents damage but not good for anything but minor bumps.

      Bought this item for my 8yr old for a christmas gift. It took me and my husband hours to get it from spinning in one direction. When my son was finally able to play with it the cage didn't protect much because when it dropped on the ground and the propeller got chipped and now it doesn't work.

          I purchased this product as a gift for my son. It was difficult to control at first and then once we got the hang of it the tip of the rotor blade broke off. Waste of money unless you are looking for an hour or so of fun. Bottom line a waste of money.

            I purchased this helicopter thinking it would be a good way to teach my 6 year old how to fly them. I thought that the cage surrounding the helicopter would help with occasional bumps into walls and ceilings. It did not. This helicopter is extremely unstable and hard to control. I have been flying these toy helicopters for several years with my son and this one is by far the worst. Don't waste your time or money on this product!

              Right out of the box it was unusable, with helicopter persistently spinning to the left. Build in Trim function did not help in correcting spin problem.

              It was a gift and we had no receipt to return/replace it so it was overall waste of money.

                Main rotor shaft broke on the first flight. Thought this was unbreakable. Not sure why it is built with thin plastic for the main flight mechanism. This thing lasted less than 2 minutes. Also like to point out. 30 minutes to charge and 3 minutes of fly time (as the instructions say). I know this is a limitation of the batteries but way to ruin the fun by waiting.

                    My 8 year old saved up and bought this helicopter with her own money. Right out of the box it would spin uncontrollably instead of flying straight. It could not be trimmed. On day two about an inch of one of the rotors broke off and then it was able to fly a straight line but vibrated horribly. Do not buy this toy.
