      This was a great item for a little person just learning how to "color" It makes sense to them that the marker only works on that piece of canvas, so hopefully will transfer over to when we give her real crayons and paper. Also, we are still in the "new things must be tasted" stage, so although I discouraged her from putting it in her mouth, it was very nice to know it is only water from my sink, so no worries. I was able to give her some creative freedom, no hovering to make sure she won't draw on herself or other things. I do wish that it was machine washable, just on gentle cycle. After just a week, it has food spots from our daughter snacking while using it.

      Very durable and fun to draw with for adults and children. Toddlers are able to walk across the mat. The mat only comes with one pen. If you loose the pen the mat is useless. We purchased an extra accessory kit with a marker and paint brush

        What a great surprise this has been! My daughter loves it and so does every adult who comes to visit our house! Lots of fun drawing on the aqua doodle, and it is very durable. Our dogs have walked on it, our toddler has sat on it - no rips or tears, great toy!!
