    overall the bike looked good with the graphics. lightweight and sturdy. however, the pedals were stiff so i investigated and found out the rear hub is binding. i loosened the jamb nut but still stiff. i took the rear hub apart 3 times and never could get it to stop binding. it will be allright for a first bike and she will build leg muscles trying to pedal it. this is a $15 to $20 bicyclw at best. you would be better off buying one of the other name brand bikes that are made in china as they are a better quality.

    Bought this bike for our 4 year old's birthday. She has ridden it every day since! It's close to being too small for her, but we wanted her to have a bike that she could easily manage on her own. I think the training wheels will be coming off soon! This is our second avigo bike and we have been very pleased with both of them.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
