We bought this bike as an upgrade in size for our daughter, whose knees were hitting the handlebars of her previous bike. The first thing I noticed, other than how adorable and colorful this bike is, is that there is a substantially larger clearance for leg movement while pedaling. I think she will get more years of use out of this bike simply because of how it is designed, so this is a huge plus for us - and any parent who would like to get the most out of their purchase. It can also be adjusted quite a bit as she grows. The quality of the bike is great. It appears to be well-made and durable, with a smooth ride and a comfortable seat. This is our first experience with this brand, and so far we're pleased. The only (minor) complaint we have is that assembly was a bit difficult. There is no way I could have done it myself because it took everything my husband had to pry the frame wide enough to allow the front tire to fit. It was a good 3/4 inch too narrow. Thankfully, he had the tools and strength so it was just annoying and not a deal breaker. We all love the bike, so we were determined to make it work. So overall, absolutely fabulous and even with the assembly issue it still deserves 5 stars. It's entirely possible that it was just this particular bike, too; others might be just fine. We would absolutely buy this bike again.

My daughter got this bike for her birthday from my sister-in-law. I'll admit, it's a super cute bike and it fits her personality to a T! When she ordered the bike there weren't too many reviews and most were positive. As we are seeing now, we weren't the only ones to have problems with putting it together. My husband and I have put together several bikes without too much trouble but this one made us sweat! If you read enough reviews, you'll see that many people had trouble with the front fork not being wide enough to get the front tire in and we had that same problem. No matter what we did, we could NOT get that front tire to fit. We are NOT wimps! In fact, I like to think that I'm pretty darn strong for a girl! But it was not going to happen. Unfortunately we chipped up the paint trying to finagle it in there. We tried contacting Little Missmatch and got no response whatsoever. That was disappointing. Contacted Toys R Us and they told us that if we brought the bike to one of their retail locations that they would assemble it for their $10 assembly fee. They have a "fork spreader". So, we drove the 30 miles (60 miles round trip!) to the nearest store and paid the $10 to have it assembled.

Our story doesn't stop there...So my daughter rode the bike for a couple of weeks and suddenly had a flat rear tire. So my husband pulled out the tube only to find that the tube that was in the rear tire was about two inches too big and was folded over to fit inside the 20 inch tire. That was right where the leak in the tube was.

Another thing we're noticing is that all that cute paint on the rims is rubbing off where the brakes rub.

So...it's a cute bike and as far as my daughter is concerned it has no flaws...except for the downtime while we tried to put the darn thing together and while she had a flat. But as parents...we were definitely disappointed.

So...if you're going to buy this buy, I would recommend, buying it in the store or if you buy it online, be prepared for the fork to be too narrow and don't waste your time or chip the paint trying to make it fit. Just call your toys R Us store to make sure someone is available to assemble it and bring it in and save the headache...and don't bother contacting Little Missmatch...they won't be of any help.

    We sized our 7 yo daughter in a bike store on a 20 in schwinn bike and it was perfect with room to grow. We bought this one without trying it out in the store and it is just a little big. But, by summer we're hoping she will be able to ride it. The bike is absolutely adorable! I hope it holds up better than her cheap huffy did.

      Bought this for my Daughters 7th Birthday. She absolutely loves it! She is a bit taller than other 7 year olds and it is slightly big for her, but there are a lot of things you can adjust to ensure it is a safe experience for them to ride. The handle bars adjust up and down and there is a separate adjustment to move forward and aft. The seat is easy to adjust up and down. Everything seems to be very good quality, the paint seems to be a bit easy to scratch. The brakes took a lot of adjusting. If you don't have many tools or aren't very handy, probably better to take to a bike shop to build and adjust accordingly. She should be able to use it until she is big enough for an adult size bike.

          I ordered this online for Christmas. My brother and I just got done using our car jack to spread the front fork to install the tire. You're getting what you pay for here, but it's a really cute bike. We'll see how long it lasts once my daughter starts riding it daily, but for now, it looks great. We are both semi-handy and this thing was not a cinch to put together.

                My son came this weekend to assemble this bike for my granddaughter's birthday next weekend. We found 3 dents and multiple paint chips on the bike. The box was partially opened at the bottom, With only a week before my 8 year old's party, we have to live with it. I will buy bikes for my other grandchildren at the store. It was also difficult to assemble, especially the brakes.

                    Being a mom to a little girl who insists on wearing mismatched socks on a daily basis this bike fits her to a T! I have zero complaints about this bike. I paid the $10 preassembly fee which is well worth the price. She loves it and my 10 year old nephew even says how much smoother her bike rides than his.
