Cups are good for a child ready to go to the next level of sippy cups. The straw makes them feel like a big kid. I love the straw feature. The cups are not completely leak/spill proof though. My kids threw their cups once and both cups started leaking. Aligning the cup up with the clicks on the side do not work for my cups anymore, so that top and bottom doesn't line up good. Have to tighten it more, to try to get it not to leak through the top. I have the cups with the clicks and without and both types leak, so all I can suggest is Parents monitor where your kid(s) puts the cup otherwise you may end up with a puddle of whatever they are drinking on the carpet, cloth couch, bed, car seat, etc. Other than leaking when laid down instead of being sat down properly upright, it's a Good Cup if you're child is ready to drink from a straw.

I got two of these sippy cups and use them everyday at home and during travel for my 2 year old. One of the cups got moisture between the two layers, but still very funtional. Sometimes they leak a little when upside down from the straw, but for the most part they are spill proof (since the upper straw has a value-type closure inside and they have a snap close lid). Been washing them in the dishwasher. But I would definitely suggest also getting a the sippy cup cleaning brushes to get all the drink residue out of the straws parts.

My 22 month old loves elmo which was the reason I bought it. Cleaning is easy and assembling it. But it does leak if tipped over or left onside. although product does mention insulated but not leak proof. Looking for another cup.

Hard to,clean, difficult to drink...I guess not for 16 months old...My son gets upset because liquid will not come up..It leaks..amd yes even if you close it properly

It took me forever to find a sippy cup that my son would take. He LOVES Elmo so this cup was perfect for him. He took to it right away, which made me very happy, except, THEY LEAK EVERY WHERE!! If left laying on their side, there's a puddle of liquid on my floor, rug and couch. I'm so frustrated with having to chase him around to make sure his cup isn't laying down somewhere.

I have several of these munchkin cups in both the original versions and the "new and improved" Click Lock. Both the character cups and the mighty kids. I am so disappointed that in both versions of the cup, the ones with the Click Lock tops LEAK every time! They don't leak out of the straw (unless there is back pressure, which happens with any straw cup), but they leak around the open/close tab and from underneath the lid itself...coming out around the rim. The original cups don't do this at all, but they are hard to find since Munchkin is moving to the Click Locks. If you see them, buy them up, you won't be disappointed!

Our 1 year olds almost instantly knew how to use the cups. The straw is made of a nice rubbery material. They are easy to take apart and clean. Love the Elmo designs and colors.
Complaint: after handwashing 1 time the first cup had condensation in it. After 2nd/3rd wash the next cup has condensation in it. There were no instructions with the cup but I assume handwashing and submerging in water is ok. Currently wrote munchkin to see if they have a warranty
