The fantastic LEGO Technic 2-in-1 Logging Truck (9397) is something extra special! The immense logging truck is ready for some serious lifting action! Use the Power Functions control box on the side of the truck to lower, raise and turn the motorized grabber arm and extend the outriggers. Then turn and open the grabber to lift the thickest logs. This huge model also features functioning steering, opening doors and hood, and with a detailed engine bay with working piston engine, this great model is just like the real thing!

          Easy to build,nice clear instructions, after it was all built this truck was so amazing... And tough the age group is for 10 to 18 bit my 6 year old is running it..it didn't take him long and he can load and unload pretty fast already... I had wanted to buy this truck for a few years now but was hesitant to do so because o didn't think it would be tough enough for this family... But it is very tough...

                      This has got to be the best Technic set I ever put together or operated. It is intricate and only for the more experienced Lego builders, but the end result is an elegant streamlined machine chock full of features utilizing only 1 power functions motor. All of these features are in the product description, so I won't go into them, but let's just say they all work with ease and all serve to make this American/Canadian style logging truck look just like the real thing. Only thing that could make is if Lego could put dual wheels on the 2 rear axles. Lego could have made it full remote control, but that would have increased the price and space for the extra functions would limit its function. For 'old-timers' the front end looks very similar to the 8285 Tow Truck from 2006. Highly recommended buy.
