Clear reception, no fuzz or static. Good range but I don't thing it goes quite 2000 feet. I can go all the way to my mail box to check mail without any issue and get no out of range signal. Great product! I had the older model of this for my daughter and its been working wonderfully for 3 years! I got this models a gift when my son was born and its even better than the last model! Not really sure I agree that the light on it is exactly a night light, but it does help you see buttons when it's very dark. Super simple and easy to use!

I use this product within my home and outside my home. All the features are really great, except the 2,000 foot range. I live on a farm and I garden and do many things outdoors. I was outside gardening (less than 100 feet away) from the monitor and it would beep out of signal. It didn't seem to have a very large range. I would still recommend this product!

Terrible!!! It keeps breaking!!!! charging port broke off inside base unit. Bought second since the features were nice before the port broke, and now second one will not even find the parental unit..... Would not buy... MONEY PIT!!!

Went through a few baby monitors before I finally found a monitor that worked for me. The biggest pro to this device is the fact that it does not screech in the presence of other electronics. It was the biggest annoyance a baby monitor could give me and I FINALLY got one that saves my sanity!

I had high hopes for this monitor considering it is $15 more than the Sony Call Baby Monitor, which we already own for our first daughter. We didn't particularly care for the static we would occasionally get with the Sony and the range always seemed to be tested, even though we only have a two-story 1,400 square foot home. So we thought...let's try the Graco.

If your house lives at a regular volume of a library, this monitor will work great for you. However, if you have a normal child-filled home like mine, this won't work at all. The receiving (parent-unit) is way too quiet to hear when my baby girl wakes up and makes noise.

Graco boasts that they are the only brand that has a build in vibration feature, which vibrates when it picks up noise from your child. There is probably a good reason why they are the only one. It's obnoxious and adds the the already regular annoyance of our iphones buzzing when we get a text, call, update, etc. One more piece of machinery buzzing in my home is not a feature. Yes, you can turn it off, but then you are solely relying on the volume, which I have already mentioned is very poor.

I'm so glad I kept the packaging, I used this for a single nap. I got up to check on something in the kitchen and happened to walk right by the monitor, which was when I realized....oh my daughter is wide awake and is certainly ready to get up now. Who knows how long she would have gone without my hearing her. I suppose I would have heard her once things elevated to screaming, but I don't think I really need a monitor for that.

My recommendation: Spend $15 less and get the Sony. This Graco monitor boasts two features that are useless. The vibration (annoying) and a nightlight (a radius of about 2 feet).

I bought this monitor after 4 months of not having one. I decided we should get one for the transition of baby into his own room. I stood and stared at all of the different monitors in the store, and finally decided on this one. Mainly because we trust Graco with most of our other baby products, and I liked the vibration feature. Along with it being digital which said it would cut down on interference. A previous poster said something about no way to charge the parent unit, but this monitor comes with two charging cables, one for the parent unit and one for the room unit. No problems here. I haven't put batteries into the room unit, no need, it just plugs in. Used it last night and loved it! Picked up babies cry when we couldn't hear it downstairs. Great buy!

I lived without a monitor for the first 3 months, but eventually decided to get one - something simple to hear if the baby wakes up while I am outside or watching TV in the basement. And it woks great. I tested it everywhere, and it works perfectly in the basement and about 100ft outside the house. Up on the hill (a very steep hill) it gets a lot of interference, but if the baby is crying, you hear it. And it buzzes and lights up, so there is no question whether it was the monitor making a sound. I never tried using baby unit with batteries, it is always plugged in. The night light is nice, however I already had one so I don't really use it either. The charge of the baby unit is usually enough for a couple of days, although I don't use it for any long periods. For it's price- it's great. This is a basic that I was looking for, reading reviews on this one and the one with two parent units I did not expect it to work so well))))

this monitor works fine with the AC adapters... But if you want to use batteries, there is a problem. The parent comes with a rechargable battery pack, but no way to charge it! As far as I can tell, you can't put regular batteries in it's place either. So all in all, I'm good if I'm near a plug.
