These letters and numbers are excellent! Not only for bath time but for play time as well. Our 9 month old received these as a gift for Thanksgiving and they have quickly become her go to toy to pick up and nibble on. She has her bottom 2 front teeth and her top 2 front teeth in and they have not been able to cut through the soft foam. These are great because they are textured on one side and flat on the other. They stick to the side of the tub on the flat side which makes it fun for her to grab them. Love this toy and thankful we recieved it as a gift.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
