These are the ONLY sippy cups that have valves you can take apart completely to clean. Other valves eventually get discolored and moldy. The spout top that is attached to the lid is ingenious. I can throw it in the diaper bag without worrying about any leaks. If you have issues with the cup leaking liquid out of the small hole on top, it's because either the valve isn't snapped together all the way or there's a bit of liquid that got stuck in the valve. Simple fix is to take out the valve, rinse it, and put back. Just wish the handles could come off.

I love these sippy cups because the valves don't get mold in them over time, unlike other valves (such as the ones in Playtex, Gerber, Avent, Nuby, and cheap sippy cups, as well as those with "built-in valves"). You take the valves apart and can get both parts squeaky clean. I use a nipple brush or wet cotton swab to occasionally clean out all the crevices in the cup top. The valve is "one flow for all" (no slow or fast flow valves to switch). I love the attached cover for the mouth piece (no piece to lose). I do have a few complaints. The rubberized sides make it hard to slide the cup down into a diaper bag pocket. I wish the training handles were removable so I didn't have to buy a new cup without handles; also the handles should be higher up so the cup fits easier in a cup holder. The vent hole occasionally leaks liquid, but this can be fixed by making sure the valve pieces are pressed tightly together as well as pressed down all the way in the cup top. Also ounce measurements would be nice on one side of the cup.

These are awesome sippy cups! Just bought a second set. First set lasted almost 2 years -- until my 3yo chewed the mouth pieces into shreds.

While my 3yo is clearly able to sip from an open cup, you can't beat these for keeping colored beverages off of the carpeting. They truly are leakproof.

I use cotton swabs to get into the nooks and crannies when they need deep cleaning. The valves are interchangeable with those of the water bottles drinking cups, too.

Our first set had one cup that leaked from the vent hole. Tommee Tippee sent a replacement, no questions asked. Excellent customer service!
