If we are going to be out and about, especially something like a road-trip, these are my go-to sippys. When they say "truly spill proof", they aren't lying. My son can drop this, flip it upside down and shake it, and bang it on things without it leaking. So why only three stars? I find it difficult to put the lid on and end up with the spout in a reasonable position for him to sip from it (the handles are on the cup itself so they don't automatically line-up with the spout). I often have to put it on multiple times in order to get it right. The flip-cover for the spout is nice and I LOVE that it sits into the cup, but now that we've used it for a few months it doesn't necessarily stay down and sometimes flips up to hit my son in the face. Not a big deal except that it's surpring to an 11-month old to suddenly find something bumping them in the forehead while they're trying to take a drink. I think the cups are darling though, durable, easy to clean, and they don't leak. I will continue using the two I have as a go-to outside the home, but inside the home I'll stick with my other ones.
