Our Explora li'l sippee spill-proof sipper cup is intuitively designed for leak proof, bite free sipping. Made of soft silicone to be easy on tender gums, our integrated valve was designed by a physicist to provide goof-proof, easy drinking, and yet remain truly spill-proof. And the one-piece valve is super easy to clean and comes with a hygienic cover to keep clean when out and about. The sipper cup features a narrow waist for easy gripping, and the top and spout are interchangeable with all the li'l sippee cups as well as the Closer to Nature bottles. My baby is exclusively breastfed and will not make a bottle or any cup he has to use suction on work. This cup, however, works simply by squeezing the valve, so he can easily drink from it. It won't spill if dropped from the high chair and doesn't have a complicated valve. Great cup for transitioning a baby from breast to getting water from a cup!

These cups are terrible. They are not remotely leak/spill proof- all you have to do is pinch the spout and it just opens up. Would definitely not give these to a baby or toddler- maybe an older child who understood how they work and *not* to do those things. Very disappointed and will be bringing them back to the store. Try another Tommee Tippee- not these ones.
