We had a bunch of the smaller Carter's recieving blankets, and they worked GREAT for our 5 pound 9 oz baby. Not so much when she reached about ten pounds. Way too small now, These, however...are HUUUGE! They wash well, are sturdier than they look, and stay on her at night. I also use them as nursing covers when I feel the need for one ;)

I got these as a gift and they mean everything to me! They wear well with a lot of washing, folded or swaddled provide great warmth, are perfect for a breathable cover when nursing and work great to block the sun for newborns. I highly recommend!

This is a great swaddle blanket (don't know if anyone else out there tried to swaddle with receiving blankets - doesn't work - and this was a great solution during the hot months when the Summer Infant Swaddler was just too warm. It also is a great blanket for a toddler once swaddling is no longer necessary. Love the light-weight material during the summer. I buy this set for all my new mom friends!

These blankets are the best! We do not leave the house without at least one-- they are perfect for covering a car seat/stroller to protect from sun or help keep baby from getting overstimulated out and they're totally breatheable. I have already bought these for other moms to be.

Bought this online as a baby gift for a shower. When the box came it was HUGE! Inside it had the packing slip listing the right item but a giant sized breast feeding pillow. Took it to a local store to return (packing slip said easy return at the store) and they would only give me a store credit which was very frustrating because the reason I ordered it online is because the store did not have this item!
