We haven't used it because we the baby isn't here just yet. When looking at mattresses my main two concerns were quality and fit. The mattress fits perfectly in the crib with no gaps whatsoever even in the corners. It is completely snug which gives me piece of mind. It appears to be a really nice quality mattress too. I bought it because it has a 25 year limited warranty in case it loses its firmness after time. Overall I am very happy with this purchase so far!

I purchased this mattress after having to return the Stearns and Foster mattress I had originally bought. The S&F did not fit my Munire Savannah crib. Since the corners of this Simmons mattress are rounded, it fit my crib like a glove! I like that it has the infant side and toddler side. The mattress feels firm but not too firm. My baby boy is due in January. So, he has yet to test it out, but the quality appears to be top notch. So far, so good!

Before my first son was born, my mother in law and I went shopping for a mattress. She told me this one was the best since it had the baby and toddler sides plus the amount of coils and filling, etc. Since she had 4 kids, I trusted her. This mattress has been great. My son is now 2 1/2 and it is still firm even after all of his jumping. I think I turned it over from the baby side to the toddler side after he was 1. I have no complaints and it has held up so well that I'm buying another one for my baby due in january. I love the surface. The times that I've had to clean it off, all I used was a wipe and it was fine, so it is waterproof, but has never made my son sweat.

We bought the mattress and brought it home before the crib arrived. We were pleased with our purchase until the day we went to put the nursery together. The mattress had a rip in it that we had not previously noticed. It had been in a closet with the other nursery stuff since we had purchased it, so the only thing that could have brushed up against it was a box. I was disappointed that it could tear so easily. We will be returning it.

I suppose this is a nice product, however, when UPS delivered this mattress it was only covered in plastic. The plastic was ripped/torn and the mattress was dirty and torn and I refused to accept the shipment. I received credit for the mattress and sales tax, but did not receive credit for the $22.00 shipping cost! I sent an email to toys r us requesting credit for the shipping, but have not received a response. I would order the mattress again, if I knew it would be shipped in better packaging. I am very disappointed in Toy R US and their customer service. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Originally bought to replace a cheaper crib mattress that my daughter had ruined. She was a year old, 23 lbs. the cheaper mattress did not last and had basically crushed in/collapsed. We went with Simmons b/c we personally sleep on a Simmons and love it. Glad we did because this mattress is wonderful. My daughter sleeps well on it and there is no odor or "off gassing" that can happen with some new mattresses. Most importantly, it hasn't caved in or developed any ruts/troughs. Still uniformly firm and comfortable. My daughter is now 15 months and 25 lbs.

Now that my son is 2 months we are going to switch him out of the bassinet and into his crib. I am buying this mattress again for him and feel confident knowing I am purchasing a high quality product that will support him comfortably.

Note: while the mattress is a bit heavy & cumbersome to change sheets on, this is preferable in my mind to the lightweight, breeze to change mattress I originally had that could be folded in half after 6 months of use. Simmons are known to be on the heavy side but it's because of their quality durable build. Cadillacs are heavier than daewoos too. But I'd prefer the former :)

Excellent quality, great value,and made in USA. The infant side is firm which is recommended and toddler side has more cushioning eliminating another purchase.

Our 3 month old daughter Makayla loved this mattress we laid a few out and let her lay on each one, she cried on the cheaper ones because she sunk in, this one she was immediately happy!!! So were we very affordable for the nice quality!! thanks simmons & babiesrus.
