I have a 2 year old granddaughter whom visits me on a regular basis. This car seat is padded nicely and is easily removable for washing. It is a sturdy seat. I never fear for my grand daughter's safety in this seat. She sits high so she can see outside the windows. The only thing that is a struggle is taking it from one car to the other. It installs easily with the seat belt but it is bulky and is not too convenient to transfer. Other than that I am very pleased with its performance. I can see the difference in the quality of this car seat compared to others. It is worth the price and my grand daughter will grow with this seat.

This is our second Britax car seat. We have one for both of our vehicles now. The other model we own is the Advocate CS (love that one too, just a hair bulkier). After previously purchasing a Graco Argos (to tried to save some money) we returned it after a week b/c I HATED it and bought this Britax instead. Seriously, nothing compares to britax. I know they are more expensive, but trust me they are worth every penny. The fabric is really soft and all the buckles are really easy to use. I love the high safety rating on this car seat as well! My daughter (19 months) loves this car seat and never complains while she's riding in it. We have even checked this with our luggage at the airport (twice) and it's held up awesome! I highly recommend this car seat. You won't go wrong with Britax.

Love everything about carseat. My granddaughter sleeps great while traveling without her head falling forward like it does in other carseats. Lots of extra side impact support. The price is high on these carseats but when it comes to a childs safety nothing is too high.

I've been using this carseat for six months now. I use it almost daily, depending on which car I take to work. This is an average carseat for a more than average price. If you can afford a pricier carseat, I would recommend going up a level for better execution of usability.

Positive Feedback: Installation was a breeze, as any carseat these days should be. It is a tight squeeze for my Mazda3 hatchback in rear-facing position, but most people can still sit in the front seat without their knees hitting the dash. My 14 month old daughter seems comfortable and sleeps well in it. Her head is well supported. The fabric is cool, even when the car has been baking in a parking lot in the sun.

Frustrations: The velcro patches on the sides are meant to keep the straps out of the way while loading your child into the seat, but the rubber pads on the straps make the straps fall back into the seat. Minor note...the velcro has snagged a few knit outfits and blankets. The click that you hear when tightening the straps is supposed to ensure the proper tension, but several times the velcro had caught the strap and it clicked as if the belt was appropriately tightened anyway. I think this could mislead a less-careful user into thinking the child was secure. The strap pads at the neck are bulky and always spin. I finally took them off and bought nicer ones.

These are somewhat minor frustrations that I've listed, but my other carseat (Recaro ProRide) does not have any of these problems. I find myself taking our other other car with the Recaro carseat whenever possible.

This carseat is fine, but not my favorite.

I use this car seat every single day!! Good thing about it: it's sturdy, safe, material is super soft, my 15 month-old falls asleep a few min after she gets in it and her head doesn't move side to side. Horrible thing about it: I HATE THE STRAPS!! I can't understand how this car seat is sooo expensive and has such an old and poor strap system, it doesn't matter what you do or how many times you fix it; they will always get TWISTED :S I'm sooo frustrated about this fact, and my baby gets mad every time that happens, so it gives you a hard time when you're trying to adjust it. Horrible horrible experience! I miss my chicco car seat so bad!!!

My husband installed this and says it was tough, but I have no personal experience with it. He just said it would be difficult for me to do (I am 7 months pregnant with our 2nd child, so that could factor in).

Our daughter - 21 months old -- seems very comfortable in it. We recently drove back and forth between MA and GA and she slept well and was content for long stretches at a time in the seat. There is excellent cushioning so her head didn't loll too far to one side or another when she slept.

The rubbery sliders that are positioned around the chest clip can be annoying. I'm not sure of their purpose but they just seem to get in the way. The Velcro on the inner sides of the seat would make it very easy to secure the straps out of the way when loading or unloading, but those sliders make it a pain. The Velcro is an excellent detail though! The neutral color is great and the fabric is soft and comfy. It takes a little while to get used to putting the child in and working around the second/inner set of "wings" in the head area, but our daughter doesn't seem to mind them, and they offer great support. Those two drawbacks are FAR outweighed by the quality and comfort of the seat!

Overall, this seat just feels and looks like a much beefier, safer, more secure seat than any others we looked at. We've had it 2 months, our daughter loves it, and we are very pleased with it!

I moved my son into this seat when he was 6 months old because he was very near the weight limit of his infant seat (22lbs). The Boulevard was easy to install and very sturday. The side impact wings are a bit tough to work around, but they don't make the seat un-useable. The straps took a minute to figure out and the crotch strap seems to be a bit short but all in all I like the seat a lot. The weight limit is high enough that I'll be using this seat until he's ready for a booster.

Bought this 2weeks ago, came completely assembled. And the lining comes off for cleaning soooooo easily!

My 2yr and 1yr old (Irish twins), fight over who gets to sit in the Britax (terrible but i could only afford one for now.) the other is a cheaper brand. BUT FINALLY a car seat where my toddler can fall asleep comfortably in on long trips.

The ONLY reason i gave it 4stars is because unless you have a HUGE car, you'll need to be giving up 2 seats in the back for the Britax.

This is the second Britax seat we bought. One for my car and one for my husband's car. It's safety rating is great and our daughter has no trouble sleeping in it when we travel so it is definitely comfortable. Her head does not fall forward while she is sleeping because it has several reclining positions. The interchangeable carseat covers keep it stylish and updated as well as easy and convenient to clean. Love it!!
