I did not want to go the infant car seat route, just wanted to get a convertable and be done. I am very pleased with this seat, we got the separate insert for the infant which we used for the first month or two before it was no longer needed. We have it installed in our car using the LATCH system, but got a second seat for the grandparents and they were able to install it using the belts.

I originally had an alpha omega elite but needed a seat for hubby's car. This had great reviews and we didn't mind paying more to get a safer Carseat. Before I get into details I want to say that we liked this seat so much that although we already had a seat for my car, we have already purchased a second britax because it was just that much better. This seat was easier to install. I like how the latches to install in your car are similar to the kind that the bases for a carrier use (the a/o had hooks that were awkward and hard to latch and unlatch). It has a belt to tighten on each side of the seat to get the seat in as tight as possible and I'm undecided about this feature. I kind of like only having one belt that tightens both sides but if that is part of why this seat is safer than I'm fine with it. I also think its easier to tighten and loosen the harness for the baby I think that helps you get ready to go faster and saves you from overtightening and having to stand there and readjust. I LOVE the velcro on the sides that hold the straps while you put the child in. The whole time I used a carrier I hated how there was no way to hold the straps out of the way. It makes a difference! One thing that I wish they would do is find a way to keep the bottom part of the buckle from sliding down. Im going to try to add a safety pin where the velcro is and see if that helpsw keep it from sliding down. I think all carseats do this but it would help get the child in quicker and if you have a kid who fusses when he's being strapped in then anything that makes it quicker helps and you don't have to jostle them around retreaving the buckle

I read alot reviews before purchasing this car seat. It was very easy to install and it does not take up too much room in the back seat. The design and fabric quality are very good. My son is very comfortable, and is enjoying the forward facing mode now. This car seat does look very safe and sturdy and I know my little one is very safe.

We love the Britax Boulevard! Now we have two Britax Boulevards in my compact sedan. The 1st Boulevard we bought 2 1/2 years ago when my oldest son turned one. Now my second baby boy is about to turn one, since we loved this car seat so much - mainly for the high safety ratings, durability - we bought another. Didn't think twice about another brand or model. Couldn't be happier. Both my boys love sitting next to each other in their matching seats.

My six month old didn't exceed the weight limit of his bucket seat, but I wasn't using the 'bucket' option because it was too heavy, so we went ahead and swapped to the convertible. We chose this model because of the "true" head alignment, the side impact protection, and the deep seating that it offered. It's easy to install, despite being massive (granted, we took it to the fire department to make sure we were doing it right). I like that it has strap covers so they aren't cutting into his neck, but they're short enough to allow the chest buckle to be at his armpits and not lower. There is a "stomach pad" that sits behind the buckle and that seems to give us a bit of a hassle when we initially put him in. I love how safe our little guy looks in it. I can't say for sure how well it works in a crash, but as far as day to day comfort, we dig it. We haven't cleaned it yet, but I like that you don't have to uninstall the seat to remove and wash the cover. The color pattern wasn't really on our radar (we picked the cheapest one) but it still looks nice. I like that Wee Man can rear face for longer in this seat than many of the other options.

We wanted a car seat that was safe, comfy and easy to put baby in and out. It was a tough decision between the sunshine kids, Recaro and the Britax. We went ahead and bought the Britax =) Results: we love it!!! Our son looks comfy and peaceful. When he sleeps his head stays still (straight up) which is a plus since we do a lot of traveling. I had no problem putting the car seat in our Gmc sierra. I honestly do not have any negative towards the car seat (knock on wood), although it was a little on the heavy side but we wont be taking it in and out of the car so that didn't bother us. Ultimately I give it a two mommy thumbs up and definitely recommend this car seat.
