Although these seat is stylish it does not meet our expectations. It doesn't seem safe as the base isn't securely locked to the seat..it easily moves from side to side..we took it to the fire station just to make sure it was done correctly..The buckles on the car seat are so annoying..you have to combine the two straps before you are able to push down into the buckle. It does not extend very far and my son outgrew it by time he was 4 months of age..the straps were too tight and his feet were hanging way out of the seat. I wouldn't recommend this seat to any new parents.

My son is 7 months old and has about grown out of it, the seat is heavy 22lbs compared to other infant carriers.
It is durable, and simple to install, I like the rubber triangle handle, the straps are easy to adjust and I haven't had any problems with them twisting.
I wish it had more padding/cushion around the head, and the seat cover is NOT machine washable,you have to scrub by hand with a warm wash cloth.
I'm happy with my experience with this seat, next baby I will not be using it though.
Great bang for the buck.

When we bought this seat, we had absolutely no idea what to look for so we just bought a cheap one with decent reviews. Now that I have used it for 9 months, I am undecided if I would purchase it again. I'm leaning toward no...

It is a pretty good seat, overall. It is more compact than most, which is great if you need to fit more than one seat into a vehicle. Also, it is lighter than many other seats, so it is portable longer than most.

However, the fabric is not removable so it can't be machine washed, only wiped or spot-cleaned. (Didn't learn that until the first blow-out diaper my daughter had in it.) Also, the buckle is cumbersome to secure due to the fact that you can't secure each side separately. The right and left tabs must be layered on top of one another and then inserted simultaneously into the buckle. Most of the time it isn't an issue, but when she is wearing several layers of clothes, it is quite annoying.

It's a great seat. Easy to remove from the base. Light weight for me. My only kick back is that the plastic pieces that you push in on to move the carry handle up and rattle when going down the road.

I have used a babytrend carseat before with my first daughter and loved it. This one is a little lighter than the one I had before, Better for me! My only complaint is my newborns head flops to the side there is no real head support for a newborn other than that I love this carseat and If I had to buy another one I'd by a babytrend again!! I Love their products!!

** If your having the same head to the side problem I got a babiesrus headrest and problem is solved!!

Had a graco for my first and would have used for second. Unfortunately my husband drives an outback that it did not fit well in and I'm a tall person. For the fist year I rode in the backseat because there was no room to sit in the front. So we had to find something that didn't take so much room. The only real complaint I have is it is hard to tighten it down once strapped in. The graco was much easier to just lock them in and tighten. The latch installation is fairly easy. Again though it's kind of hard to pull down on the straps.

I bought this product before my baby arrived and it was easy to get together. Then when my baby uses it he's been in it for 6 months and still in it and its been great. Pretty good head support, the straps keep him in really good and safe, the canopy is good to keep the sun out and cold air, and its sturdy. It is a little heavy, but I would assume all of them are heavy especially when the baby is in. Great buy!

There's no real support for a newborn's little head. My little one's head was always either down toward her chest or cocked to the side.. both very uncomfortable and with it forward it was also dangerous. Even though carseat was level, her head would not stay back. I had to constantly check her while driving and pull her noggin back when needed. AWFUL. I tried getting a head support but it did not help. Now that she is bigger (3 months old) it is no longer a problem and I like it just fine. I will not be using this seat for my next child, however and I definitely do NOT recommend it.

Cons: No head rest for newborn, heavy, the latch is not user friendly. I have a fat baby, so I wish it is much bigger width wise.

I use this car seat regularly for transporting my baby in the car. I also click the car seat into my babytrend velocity jogger stroller. The seat clips into the car fairly easy, especially if you have a non-retractable seatbelt. The seat clips into the stroller even easier! Not only does it work well, but I am confident my baby is safe. The straps can adjust to be perfectly snug on her shoulders while the seat also can allow the sun to be kept of her. It comes with a little foot cover. The material is soft and my baby just loves it! She will fall asleep instantly when I put her in it! Sometimes we use it when she is too fussy to sleep!
