Its been 3 weeks since my husband and father spent hours putting all the tiny pieces together to create this sturdy, true matching to the crib white bureau, and it STILL SMELLS like HEAVY PAINT FUMES. The crib smelled fine. My husband notices it too, its not just my pregnancy nose :) we have had the windows open every day for weeks, sprayed deodorizer inside, lit candles, I'm about to spend $25 on drawer sachets so the clothes wont smell like paint. its a heavy smell. buyer beware. I still don't know if it will every go away!

The dresser is very sturdy and practical. I have absolutely no complaints about the dresser. I am very unhappy with the service. I read all the reviews and was very weary about ordering anything from Babies R Us because so many people had problems with it coming damaged. But, my husband and I both have small cars and no way to transport furniture from the store to our home. First, I ordered the matching Solutions White Sleigh crib and had it delivered to our house. When it arrived, the box looked like it had been thrown down a flight of stairs and was ripped open at the top. To my dismay, when we opened the box, the sleigh piece of the crib was cracked in two.
I called Babies R Us and they said they would replace it but I had to take the crib to UPS. Of course, this was a major problem for us and why we had the bed ordered in the first place! Babies R Us would not come pick the crib back up that they had delivered damaged.
Then, our family gave us the Solutions white dresser as a shower gift. We opened that up and the matching white dresser was brown even though the box indicated white! Again, we had to call Babies R Us and go through a huge hassle. Again, they would exchange it but we had to bring the dresser back to store, which we were not able to do with our compact cars. The service was slow and completely unhelpful.
I will never order anything from Babies R Us again in the future.

I had this n the crib both come in pieces if your think your going to buy something that u dont have to assemble your wrong so dont whine about it!!! I love them both very beautiful and great no problems no chipping no missing pieces its a great deal and buy from what ive previously had and waisted money on. I would highly recommend this whole collection to any parent who isnt going to complain about doing alittle work for there newborn!!

We bought this dresser along with the chest and curved crib and are very satisfied with the entire purchse. The color looks bright white to me and all 3 pieces match in color.

There is a faint wood smell, but it definitely does not attach to the clothing inside the drawers, as stated by the other reviewer. And I am very particular about chemicals and odors, etc. The dresser is solid wood, so I do expect somewhat of a wood-like smell.

My husband assembled it on his own in 3 hrs .. he is pretty handy though.

The drawers are on metal gliders, which gives the drawers less of a cheap feel, like the ones that glide on plastic. Also, the drawers are fairly deep with ample space to store clothing, baskets, etc.

You really can't beat the price for this considering it is solid wood. Most baby dressers are made of particle board and MDF which contain formaldehyde. This set does not.

I ordered the LA Baby organic changing pad to put on top of it and it's a great fit (34 inches long x 16 inches wide x 4 inches high).

Overall, we are satisfied with this purchase and would buy the entire set again!

I purchased this dresser along with the matching crib for my second little girls nursery after spending alot of money on my first nursery set I was looking for a good quality, less expensive set. After shopping around I purchased this dresser and ended up returning it. The day I brought my little girl home from the hospital I realized her clothes has a terrible odor of mildew and wood from the drawers to them. I obviously wouldnt put my baby in these clothes so I rewashed everything and used baking soda and cleaned the drawers and even placed dryer sheets in each drawer and it only made the smell worse. The other downside is you have to build this unit completely, drawers and all. Took me over 4 hours. Spend the money the first time on a good nursery set and be done. You get what you pay for.

We bought this dresser to go along with the crib, but was very disappointed that the dresser had to be fully assembled. It was very confusing and after working on it for hours we decided just to return the dresser to the store. I have never purchased a piece of furniture that had to be fully assembled. Very disappointed in the quality of this product.

The dresser looks nice and is of good quality but BUYER BEWARE it was delivered in MANY LITTLE pieces which we were unaware of. Fortunately my husband is very handy! Overall I am satified with the dresser but next time Id skip Babies r us and go straight to a furniture store.

I bought this dresser to match the Solutions Curved Crib; however, the finish on the two products do not match. The crib is a very bright white and the dresser is more of a creamy white. It is too expensive for it not to match properly, so I will be returning the dresser and looking for other storage solutions.

This is a great sturdy piece of furniture comparable to the quality of the crib and changing table. The taller dressers with wider drawers all seemed to have problems with the drawers but these open nicely. A couple had to be switched around and fit better in other slots but I'm very happy I purchased this to complete the set.
