I read all the reviews and was a little worried about purchasing this item but it was on my daughter-in-law's registry. So glad I ordered it. We had none of the problems like those in the reviews. We put it together with no problems and it is beautiful! Just waiting for my new granddaughter to make her appearance.

A really nice bassinet. I've been using the bassinet from my first child to the next. And it is still good. The unit itself is really classic like and easy to adjust the height. Both of my babies could not stop staining at the lambs when they are in it.

I purchased this bassinet after researching and reading reviews for several months - this one had the best reviews I could find and offered great features. It was easy and quick to build (took my hubby about 30 minutes). It is much roomier than other bassinets and has a large storage area. It is also very attractive (good for either a boy or girl) and sturdy. My only complaint is that it was nearly impossible to find fitted sheets that fit the mattress properly. The bassinet brings one fitted sheet, but I wanted more than one. I purchased at least 6 different sheets and had to return all of them. I finally found adjustable bassinet sheets online - thank goodness. Other this this issue, I recommend this bassinet.

This bassinet is attractive and easy to put together. I like the adjustable height. However, the mattress is very flimsy and does not fit snuggly in the bassinet. It says memory foam, but it is definitely not an accurate description. When the baby moves, the mattress (which has a vinyl covering) makes noise and wakes the baby. Also, there are no sheets that fit this mattress. I ended up getting a changing pad cover that sort of fits the mattress (abiet not as snug as I would like), but it took buying four different sheets before I found something that worked. This bassinet would be great if they improved the mattress quality!

I did a lot of research before buying a Bassinet for our baby boy on the way (2nd child). We were looking specifically for 3 things- quality, looks, and function. Per various websites this item had the best customer reviews. Also it came with a mattress pad already (most did not, you would have to buy one separately). Moreover, the mattress pad is impressive - very nice and memory foam. I liked that a lot. So we purchased it. Here is how it rated on the 3 points (we gave it a 3 avg overall). Quality- a lot better than the other products I saw. I would give a 4 - 4.5 on quality. It would have been a 5 if the basket did not move or give a couple inches when you push it instead of being more staid/solid (we ensured the bolts were tightened and secure). Looks- are a 5. A lot of the bassinets looked a bit too girly/frilly for boys. When we set it up, it looked a lot more neutral than the picture, yet still adorable. My husband was relieved it was appropriate looking for boys too. :) Finally, Function - we gave this a 1-2. I am pretty disappointed in that the "basic" elements of function were a miss. The legs flip out almost a half foot on each side (the bassinet is a decent size to begin with). The legs are too wide bumping furniture and door frames as you go and we have a relatively large master bdrm(others mentioned this as well). Not good when navigating a newborn at night and trying not to wake them. Also, does not roll well on carpet. The first bassinet we owned (a cheap but functional one)rolled far better. It moved as one piece when pushed and did not give a couple inches before the rest followed suit. Also the frame was narrow enough not to bump furniture and door frames. Since you only use these for 2-3 mths, may be better to get one of the cheaper ones if they function better for you. We are looking for one now and swapping this one for it. B/c ultimately you want it to function well on those sleepless nights.

This bassinet is wonderful. When we first bought it, My husband complimented how nice and tidy it looked with our room decor.

Our girl who is now a month old has so far spent most of her nights in this bassinet, she has mostly slept calmly in it (except for the few fussy nights)

She enjoys the mobile as I think it is her favorite feature of this bassinet, I am glad that we went with this bassinet because we surely don't regret it.

Overall, I really recommend this product and it is important to treasure those nights with your baby because the grow up way to quickly!

I use this product for my newborn. It has been 2 months now since she has been sleeping in it. The gliding motion is great and helpful. However, the canopy needs to be looked over by Simmons. As you bring the canopy up and down, it makes a loud CLICKING noise which really scares my baby. Very poorly made. The canopy should easily open and close without startling the infant sleeping or relaxing inside the bed. Eventhough I may be careful not to touch the canopy, my preschooler can't keep his hands off it. It causes a problem having to monitor the canopy. Also the legs/feet of the bed stick out. I guess to allow the gliding motion. However, one can very easily trip over it. Also, it is difficult to get the bed through the door due to the legs into another room.

This bassinet is soo beautiful, the picture does not do it justice and will go with any room decor. It is elegant, cozy and sturdy. I love the hidden netting feauture on the sides of the mattress that is hidden with the bedskirt. This assures your little one will breathe just fine if she moves towards the edge of her bassinet. It is rock solid and having two little boys running around all day, I can assure this bassinet will stay put! LOve Love LOVE. Three kids, three bassinets and this is by far the best and most beautiful.
