I've had this toy for about a month, used for my 14 month old. The top of the hut and the top of the tree come off so a child can scoop water with them. Water also pours out of the base of the sand castle. The monkey on the palm tree doesn't spin very easily when water is poured on it, but my kid still likes to spin it by hand. I wasn't excited about the dolphin (a water squirter) and person having holes (don't want water getting trapped and growing things), but I've been diligent in draining the water from them and so far it's not been a problem. The gray bottom of the dolphin is paint, and is removed fairly easily (teethers beware...those little teeth are perfect for removing the paint!). The person doesn't fit through the slot at the top of the slide. Overall, though, my kid likes it, and I like that it sticks well to the side of the tub and can store the toys that come with it.

I am an adult toy collector with a one year old son, so I understand toys. This is easily the worst toy ever. I love Fisher Price. I highly recommend their Geotrax, Little People, Wheelies, and Imaginext toys. This Little People toy is horrible. The value is really in the figure and the dolphin. Just look at the picture. The figure can not slide down the slide from the top. The space is not big enough. Our monkey spins fine when you pour water onto the tree, but all the devices that they give you to collect water are strainers. You can not bring a full cup of water up to pour it in. As you do water just goes all over it, so you can not really see it working so well. The little raft for the person does float in the tub, so that is a plus. I got this free over easter weekend, because my ToyRus had a buy one get one and this was about the last thing left that I knew he did not have and nobody had purchased him. I beg you to buy any other toy from this or any other fisher price line. This toy is just so pointless. I would direct you to the DC Superfriends stuff, but that is the adult toy collector in me. Seriously, any other fisher price toy is better. My son likes that tall yellow building for the wheelies and the truck that dumps six cars out when you press the button. He likes the garbage Truck from Toy Story in the imaginext line. He likes all the Batman trains from the geotrax line. He likes his little people batmobile and the holday train. As an adult I can say Fisher Price is a brilliant company.....I do not understand how this toy ever came to fruition.

when it does hold up in the tub it works fine. But there are time the all it do is slide. when that happens the whale is just as fun. it think for the price its worth it compare to other products price and holding interest.

Bought this as a substitute for TubTown. However, it's terrible. The guy doesn't fit down the slide, the thing is just boring. Not worth the discomfort it creates while an adult bathes.

It is cute but neither the person nor the dolphin fit in the tiny hole for the slide. That is just confusing and my daughter is not very interested in playing with it. The slide was the primary reason I bought the toy.

My daughter got this as a 2nd birthday gift. She played with it once and never looked at it again. She does, however, play with the person and whale. The spinner doesn't spin well, the strainers don't get enough water up there. The person doesn't fit down the slide. I don't really see the point. Bummer, since she LOVES new bath toys!

My parents purchased the "splash n scoop bath bar" for my daughter (3yrs old) because she LOVES the Little People items and it looked like it would be alot of fun. How disappointing!!! The little boy doesn't fit to get down the slide, the innrtube keeps tipping over, the hut top doesn't stay attached very well when not in use. It is very poorly designed.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I purchased this toy for my daughter as we are in need of fun bath toys. It's designed really poorly. There is a little person and a slide and the design is so poor that the little person won't even fit down the slide. The other parts of this toy are removable so kids can play with them but they don't actually stay in place when the toy is set up (tree top, etc). Our daughter loves little people and that's why we bought her this toy, but even she is not happy with it. Bottom line, very poor design. Especially for $14 or whatever I paid for it.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
