Product Description

The Fisher-Price Smart Phone looks and sounds like a real smart phone, but it's a lot more fun! And this phone actually helps kids learn important phone numbers that you program in. Then Gabby, an interactive phone friend, will help your child learn those numbers, along with the alphabet, counting and more! Kids can enjoy interactive games, music, ring tones and sounds. And they can call neighborhood helpers like a police officer, firefighter, and pizza maker. Color-changing screen and number pad add to the fun.

Since 1930, Fisher-Price has been in business to create toys that fascinate and stimulate a child's imagination. Fisher-Price was founded in 1930, hardly the best time to launch a new business as the shadows of the Depression still loomed over American business. Still, Herman Fisher, Irving Price and Helen Schelle combined their diverse manufacturing and retailing experience to create a toy company and confidently brought 16 wooden toys to the International Toy Fair in New York City. The whimsical nature and magical surprises of those first Fisher-Price toys quickly caught on and became the hallmarks of Fisher-Price ever since. Fisher-Price believes in the potential of children and in the importance of a supportive environment in which they can grow, learn, and get the best possible start in life. Fisher-Price supports today's families with young children through our breadth of products that includes GeoTrax, Imaginext, Little People, Laugh and Learn, Thomas the Tank, Thomas and Friends, Elmo, Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go, Sesame Street, Smart Cycle, Ni Hao Kai-Lan, Toy Story and other learning toys and pretend play items.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Smart Phone:

I thought this toy would be so much fun for my 2 year old grandson who loves phones but I'm so disappointed with it. The volume is so low it can't be heard unless held up to your ear. For example, he can't hold it in front of him and hear the game directions etc. I know that companies can't have children's toys too loud but this is ridiculously quite. I buy so many Fisher Price toys and this is the first time I've been disappointed. The up side, the toy is made well and if he were able to hear it and play the games etc on it I think he would have tons of fun with it. It's all about the low low low volume:(((((

First the volume is too low. My 4 yr old granddaughter could not play the games because she had to hold it to her ear to hear. Second the buttons were to hard to push. I had to return it to the store. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The phone concept was a good idea with our kids immulating us on the phone, but this is a terrible option. The volume is very low to where it can barely be heard and the buttons are not easy for the child to push. It does not capture my daughters attention and is one of the more useless toys either of my kids have ever received as a gift.

This was a gift for my daughter this past christmas. I should have read the reviews before placing this item on her wishlist. As soon as i took the phone out of its package and turned it on, i did not hear a single thing the phone was saying. Its supposed to be realistic dont you think? So wheres the volume control? Dont get me wrong its a great concept, supposed to teach toddlers/kids how to dial 911 etc..but it just doesnt help the fact that you can hear it. what a shame! There lucky I gave even a 1!

                Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Smart Phone:

Got this for my son for his second birthday because he, like most toddlers, is fascinated by my cell phone and the TV remote. The volume is so low he will only play with it if there is no background noise. He also gets very frustrated because the buttons are extremely hard to press so the phone often goes to "sleep" before he gets a chance to press the right button. Overall, this was a total waste of money!

i was so unhappy with how hard it is to push the buttons. i was so aggravated trying to add phone numbers so i know it's not easy for her either. the sound is super low. she plays with it as well as several other phones we have. i wanted her to use it for the purpose of learning our phone numbers but with the buttons so hard to push it's more of a toy than learning tool. great concept but they should have tested it prior to selling it - poor quality.

This is a very cute toy, my 1 years old enjoys the lights but gets bored easily because is really hard to listen to the sounds.I really wish they would of thought of addind more volume to it. Overall not worth the money for lights.

This is an awesome toy for our 1 yr old twins! My kids favor real toys (like my phone and remote control) and this is the first realistic toy for kids I've ever seen! It is so similar to my iphone and the remote control they fight over it all the time! When you press the buttons, it lights up in different colors. I do agree that the sound is low. But they don't mind. I am concerned as to how long the buttons will last. One week and still ok though.

It is nice to teach them important phone numbers, but when I can't even push the buttons it's useless. It has a great purpose but it needs a complete redo to be useable. I'm just glad I only wasted [$]!
