      My 14 yr old got this for Christmas. He has assembled many Lego sets & was complaining that this one is hard to put together. Little pieces fall off when he's trying to attach another little piece to what he's working on. I'm sure it will look cool when he's done assembling it but he gave up for a while.

            This is a great representation of the TIE Fighter from the original triology. It is more detailed than the TIE Fighter toy produced several years ago, in that it has way better detail on the diagonal panels, and the front makes better use of angled pieces to create a faceted shape. Add to that that it ships with 4 minifigures (including a TIE pilot, a droid, an Imperial officer, and a Death Star trooper), it's a good army builder for an adult collector and great fun for kids.
