Purchased this for our year old granddaughter as a birthday gift. Wanted something simpler, because how many talking toys can she possibly have? Well made, sturdy, nice color for a girl, and so cute. My only complaint is that it had a small hole by one of the handles. I was able to stitch it closed without it being noticable. That is why I subtracted a star. Otherwise, I was very pleased with our choice.

Ellie (the Elephant) is the perfect companion for my granddaughter. As granddaughter makes the transition from baby to toddler; not only does she enjoy rocking and riding on Ellie but Ellie provides good support in helping her practice standing and walking as she pushes the elephant along. Ellie is such an awesome friend to have that parents have to hide her before bedtime comes around or my granddaughter will never get to sleep.

This adorable elephant is too cute! It is soft, plush and the colors are delicate. Looks more expensive than the price. I purchased it at a nearby store so it did not come with a box. I wrapped it "peeking" out of a box along with other small "safari" stuffed animals tucked around it. Covered all with cellophane wrap. It was the hit of the baby shower.
