I got this as s shower gift and it came chipped and broken at the monsters feet. Its really cute and I was so excited to get it but it was broken. Hopefully the next one they send isnt broken too. the one they had on display in the store was also broken. We have no close babies r us near here so its impossible to get one from the store if they dont have this bedroom set. We were visiting my father in law in colorado when i saw it displayed in stores.

The colors in it are beautiful and it's made well. Goes great with the monster theme or on it's own.

I ordered this lamp, very excited cause it was going to complete the whole room for my son. When I got the lamp it was broken (no problem) called BABIES R US they had me ship it back, they sent me the second and it was also broken. Called them they said that they would send me a 3rd still have not received it! My suggestion is if you want this lamp go in to the store and get it dont order it, cause you WILL NOT get it!! DO NOT BUY THIS ON LINE!!!

I received it as a shower gift and it was broken. I returned it and had another one mailed to me and it also arrived broken in the exact same spot. It is so cute and very disappointing that I will not be putting this lamp in my sons room.

I bought the whole entire set and I love it. Unlike the other reviews my lamp was not broken. There at no scratches. I love it. The only downside is that the switch is closer to the plug then I would like ( a little more then half way to the plug ) but in a way I like that because I don't like to see the switch on top of the dresser and I keep the cord behind my dresser anyways because I don't want my son pulling any cords. I have a power strip mounted to my wall between the dresser and the corner so my son can't get to any of the cords from the lamp or his humidifier. It works perfectly for me.

Bought this and was so disappointed to take it home and see that it was broken in two places. At the feet of the monsters.. My husband returned it and when he told the sales person they went through the other lamps and they were ALL broken at various places. The sales associate said we could order it but cautioned us that it may be a manfacture issue. BUMMER! Thought it was so cute, wish it wasn't so cheaply made!

I decided to order this lamp from BRU because its been out of stock in all stores in my state and also oos at another popular baby retailer. Upon opening, we noticed the poor shape of the lamp. Multiple scratches and chips in the paint, touch up paint on the base (hmmm) and the pole behind the monsters where the shade screws on was so loose, and when you turn it to tighten it just spins and spins. Its obvious that they sent me a used return or a floor model because its hard to believe the lamp came from the manufacturer in this condition. That said, if it wasnt so cute and matched my sons bedding, id go with another lamp altogether. Its more cheaply made than my other son's Lambs and Ivy lamp, so im just not sure if Cocalo products are of lesser quality in general. If you plan to use this on a dresser, you will be annoyed because they put the on/off switch super close to the actual plug, making it super inconvenient to actually access to turn the power on. You will need to get behind your dresser, unless you put it at the very end and reach behind from the side. There is NO switch near the lightbulb, only the one that i mentioned on the cord. Extremely poor design! So if you choose the lamp, dont order it from here....find it in person so you can inspect before buying...and beware of the cord.
