frustrating assembly

Got this online during the Thanksgiving weekend and recieved it in about 2 weeks. What I like about this product is the design and the flat solid board for the mattress support.
What I hate about it is the wrong directions and illustrations which I have read from other comments. You have to start all over again after you realized that the directions are giving you misleasding information. So I end up calling customer service to send me the accessories (washers and bracket) I needed. That's another week of wait time. You do need another helping hand to completely assemble this product.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Bought this exact product and color online just recently and when I started unpacking it, it wasn't flawless as I hope to be, but returning it for an exchange is a hassle and there was no more time to wait.
I chose this crib because of it's stylish appeal but soon found out the hard way about the truth some other reviews I have read before.
The instructions that came with the product and it's illustrations was totally wrong right from step 1 which will throw you off and waste a lot of time undoing what you have started and starting all over again once you figure it out.
Will call the company and the store if they can do something about it.
I have not finish assembling the product because I needed some parts/washers and hopefully the base board will fit without a problem since one of the brackets that came with it is not totally 90 degrees angled.
There seems to be no quality control since this is a known problem and hopefully Babies R Us will do something about it since the Manufacturer has done nothing about it.
