Was so excited to hear that we will be having another addition in our family. So began the baby needs.

So found the ibaby on sale and grabbed it. As other reviews have said simple and easy out of the box was up and running mins after I reached home.

Still expecting our bundle of joy, we currently use this product to keep an eye on our bouncing of the wall Boxer.

I use this product mainly with iphone4 and its great I have small computer speakers for the two way communication. The movement and tracking of camera with the iphone is seamless, I've used it at various wi-fi hotspots and had complete control. The alerts are great you can adjust how sensitive the audio and movement settings are so you know when to view camera. App doesn't shut down unless you tell it to so no worrying you'd have to reload it at the most inopportune moment. Night vision is good you have good visibility. Its not a high Mega pixel camera you can't distinctively point out a pimple on someone's face but you can tell who it is. Snap shot is great goes right to your photo library so you can text or email it to anyone and multiple users so the new Grandma can show off to her friends her new grand baby sleeping in the crib thousands of miles away baby can hear grandma like she was there!

I'm considering Babycam2 for upstairs! Multiple camera control can follow the little one all over the house once those steps come along.

It's not just wi-fi, you can watch from anywhere although not sure how it effects your data usage so i try stick to the hotspots.

This product is wonderful...I have been using it for more that a year and its worked great for us. We use it with our Iphones and our Ipad. You can even go online and view the monitor that way too! I can check on my baby where ever I am.

Very easy to set up with our router and learned how to control the device all within 30 minutes including downloading the app. I feel at ease being able to see my granddaughter in her room sleeping throughout the night and during her naps. Very pleased with the iBaby Monitor for the iPhone and iPad.

I thought this was a great idea... I could see my baby from wherever I was with my phone... The problem is- the picture wasn't great and I kept losing the signal. Every time my phone rang- the screen was off and id have to reboot so to speak. This is great in theory- but they need to fix some kinks... Don't buy it!!!!

Thought I found a great solution for keeping an eye on my busy 10 month old....wrong.
Poor set-up, no connection once you go wireless do never even got to se it fully. Read ther reviews fom others, says same...and virtually no support, manual or #800 to help.
Bummed, as far as we've come with tech we can't get this updated???

As babies grow up a bit they move around. I'd like to know (or see!) what they are doing upstairs in the gameroom and if they are safe by them alone, but often I'm busy with my work downstair and hate to go upstairs all the time.

This unit is a great helper!! I just set it at the window conner in the gameroom upstairs, I can monitor what my kids are doing whenever I need, like while I'm cooking, working on computor downstairs, or in backyeard etc.

If they move out the spot, I just need to touch my cell screen to move the camera a little bit so I wl catch them again. It's amazing! so I do not need to run upstair all the time. Yes there is a few second delay for the camera to move, but it's acceptable and I cann't see anything else works better than this one!

Highly recommend this one to any mom who wants to know if their kid is safe and what they are doing while she can be busy on her own stuff.

Very disappointed in this product. The set up was easy enough but when we moved it to my sons room it would not connect to the internet even though my computer right next to it was connected fine. Also the picture is VERY delayed/slow moving. the panning option is also VERY slow so many times you over shoot where you want to look. The capability to "talk" to your child only works if you buy separate speakers and hood it up to the monitor. We wanted this for all the "perks" it talks about an esp to be able to use our phones to see are kids even if we are not home. Hopefully we can find something comparable when we return this unit.

My husband and I are very into the latest technology, and since we both already had iphones this technology seemed like a no brainer! We were excited that we would be able to check on baby even if we were at work. Baby isn't due for a few more months but we opened it up and tried it out with our 1 1/2 year old son for a night. We were less than impressed. If you have never owned a video monitor, I think you would be happy with this one. However, we currently use the Summer infant best view monitor with our son and it is way better than the ibaby monitor!! The ibaby monitor uses a free app on your phone that you control and view the camera with. You use your finger to scroll the camera around via your phone screen. We noticed, however, that the camera is a few seconds delayed when you move it, and were disappointed that there is no zoom option like we have with our other monitor. The biggest issue is the sound....... it is probably 5 seconds delayed and not very sensitive to noise at all!! My husband was talking in a low to normal voice 5 feet in front of the camera and I could see his mouth moving on the camera, but the audio came many seconds later and was so muffled I couldn't tell what he was saying. Pretty concerning, how hard would a baby be to hear then?? Anyways, we are returning this product and going to try another Summer product.
