I was looking for an easily storable umbrella stroller for my 12 month old. I am 6 feet tall and other strollers were always too short and difficult to push (I kept kicking the back) This stroller is 8 inches taller and perfect for me. I can also easily collapse it with one hand, and its so light I can put it in the car with my daughter on my other arm.

We love this stroller! We actually bought a cheapo one for use last summer thinking "oh it wont matter, my daughter wont care"...WRONG! She outgrew it and was so uncomfortable I had to upgrade her to something better. We actually went to the store and tried out a bunch and this was the one she loved (she was 17 months at the time). Its wide enough and tall enough that she's comfortable (she's on the taller skinnier side for her age. The canopy is much bigger than others so blocks sun for her. The basket below actually holds a decent amount of stuff. It pretty much came ready to use right out of the box (our last stroller we had to put almost everything together). It handles really well and can get through lots of small spaces. It folds up really easily and the carrying strap comes in handy as well. I also love that when we are pushing the stroller (I am 5'7" and my husband is 6") we aren't kicking the back wheels or the stroller so its a good height. The only downside is that it does not come with a cup holder but babies r us sells a fabulous one that works really well with it, as well as a universal organizer that I would highly suggest as it is one of my must have accessories for this stroller.

My daughter bought this stroller on a trip after going through busy airport with cheaper model. She is tall and with this stroller, she doesn't have to bend over to reach handles. There are more miles on this stroller than you would believe!!! We have made 4 trips to disneyworld with it!!!! Her son has now out grown it but it is still in good condition. We have given several of these as gifts and will no doubt continue to do so. Very pleased with this stroller. Rolls easy, folds easy and quickly. We did purchase the accessory bag which has cup holder and mesh bag for additional storage.. The only fault I find - when the stroller folds the wheels rest on the canopy which causes it to get dirty, but it cleans easily.

seems to be everything we wanted in an umbrella stroller. lightweight, easy to fold up/down, material seems sturdy and breathable. love the storage basket at the bottom. only con is that we can't make the straps adjust down smaller to fit my 7 mo old son - we've reached the limit of tightness but it still fits loosely. not too worried about it though. great buy!!

I have 4 children, all 2 years apart. For the first we had a full size stroller, then went to a double and loved it. After our 3rd we were "done" having kids and sold everything. Then I found out I was expecting again. I searched around for a lightweight stroller that was small enough for my vehicle and left room for other purchases/groceries.
We went with the Maclaren Volo after lots of research - My hubby is 6'2 and this height is great for him to push without having him step/kick the wheels, you can put a lot of stuff in the basket, and the carry strap is handy as well. The wheels lock nicely for hills (we live in the mountains!) and the 5 point harness gives good piece of mind, and my child could not undo it.
The only thing I don't like is that it does not recline, so small babies don't work well, nor if your child falls asleep, and it will tip over if you hang your stuff on the handles and the toddler decides to get out when you stop LOL :)

We bought this stroller as a light weight stroller for a trip we have planned to England. We love our jogging stroller, but didn't want to lug it through the airport and England. Well we haven't left for our trip yet and this has already become our #1 stroller! It is super light, easy to maneuver with 1 hand and strong enough to hold our 4 year old if he gets tired on long outings. True, it doesn't recline, but we knew that prior to purchasing and our goal was to stay as light as possible to make public transit easier in Britain. It is definitely worth the extra money. My husband loves the carry strap and it folds up easily with one hand and compactly. You get what you pay for and in this case you get excellence. We bought this stroller on sale, but I would now willingly have paid full price. I guess the one thing I would have liked would have been a cup holder for parents, but that can be added on as an accessory.

I purchased the Volo as my child's first umbrella stroller at 5 1/2 months.

PROS:
*Extremely light weight.
*Smooth steering, easy to maneuver.
*Has a sturdy yet posh feel to it...I call it the Cadillac of umbrella strollers.
*It fairly compact when folded.
*Large, sturdy canopy.
*A fair sized baby bag and or purse, shopping bag, etc, can fit into bottom mesh basket.

CONS:
*No recline option (but this is expected when using many umbrella strollers)
*Folding it up can be a challenge sometimes if the foot pedal slips into lock position (which is easy to slip into when trying to move up to fold since it swivels.)

It is recommended for 6 months plus. My little one was able to sit in it just fine at almost 6 months, she was sitting upright well on her own since 5 months though and is on the bigger side. I bought an insert so that she could be a little more snug and comfortable with the extra padding. I'm hoping to have this stroller around for a while! I would recommend this stroller for anyone looking for a simple, sturdy and very lightweight stroller. Also great for travel, theme parks, etc.

Basically this stroller works very well. I'm short so I wish the handle was adjustable, and I wish it had cup holders. For a more expensive umbrella stroller I think they could have added these extras. To date I haven't been able to find cup holders because the metal supports are square and not round like most strollers. It's a little difficult to fold, but that may change once it's broken in.

We have had this stroller for close to 2 years and are now using it for our second child. So light weight and manueverable. We use with our 3 year old and starting using with our second when he was about 8 months. For an umbrella stroller, the basket size is great! I would love cup holder and should probably get the attachment. Other note about getting a light color... it folds up so small that the wheels will hit the canopy and it gets dirty quickly.
