My grangson is on it all the time even in the house.He loves that it talks to him.It makes him really able to play like bummble bee is his transformer.I like everything about it.I love that the brakes are down on the peddles he does not have to try to grip the hand brake with his tiny hand.

The bike was easy to put together and I did it myself with minimum effort, but you have to have a few tools around (wrenches) I had one major issue though: the frame for the front wheel was bent (there was one small -like 1 inch by 1 inch size - hole in the box when it arrived) and it simply would not go on. I called the service center and they were very nice and said they would be happy to send me a return sticker and get me a replacement bike but my son had been wanting that bike for quite awhile and it's hard to tell a 3 yo sorry I have to send it back now before you even get to ride it. I asked if I could take it to my local store first to make sure I wasn't crazy and the phone representative said of course :) They couldn't fix it and they didn't have the bike in stock (which is why I had purchased online to start with) but they gave me the floor model. I would have given it 5 stars but the little voice thing on the handle bar doesn't work right. At the store my son tried it and it didn't work so the guy put the batteries in from the other bike and it works sometimes now, like there's a short or bad connection. This isn't important to me, but to a three year old it was pretty important. Overall he is very happy and about 3 weeks later he still gets excited to go out and ride it.

My 3 year old is a huge fan of Transformers so as soon as he saw this bike he fell in love with it. It only took him two days to learn to ride it. It is a bit heavier than other bikes but my son doesn't seem to mind. He also loves the sounds it makes. It is also a little pricier than other bikes but worth every penny.

We picked this because it was a tad lighter than the other bikes in this price range and it had a larger crank (32T I think). I was easy to assemble and fits our 4 year old perectly. But then we noticed the downsides. First is a frightening absence of reflectors. So we had to buy some LED blinkers for it. Next was the clanking noise from the rear wheel hub and the fact that the rear wheel was a bit stiff. Turns out the rear hub was only greased on 1 out of the three sets of bearings and was over tightened. I had to disassemble and re-grease everything. But this is more of a quality control issue from the factory rather than problem with the design. Still, its a cheap bike, so you risk that sort of quality issue.

Overall, I'm still glad we got it. Decent price and it is a fast kids bike after tweaking a couple things. I would recommend it to someone who is moderately handy, or get the deluxe warranty. And remember to get extra reflectors too.

My son is 4 and hopped on this 14" bike at the store and road off like he had been doing it for years. He loved it and was excited for the interactive handlebar attachment, the voice-over laser. But there was a problem when I was assembling. The handle bar piece, which is mostly plastic and has some electronics inside of it, was missing the mounting screws. I checked every bag, every package padding, every inch of the box and there was no screws for this part. Everything else was great, however the assembly instructions were chaotic and useless. I did most of the assembly based on common sense and basic understanding. The handlebar attachment, however, is in need of screws because the zip-tie is not working for it.

We brought this product online. This is a very nice looking sturdy bike with a smooth ride. The only drawback are the assembly instructions were'nt too clear. The booklet that comes along with it does not mention a step by step assembly. Toys r us charges $10 to assemble if you cannot figure it out. Otherwise, its a great bike and highly recommend it.

We got this bike for my son's 4th birthday and so far it has been perfect for him. It was a snap to put together (my son and I actually did most of it before my husband even got home) and we have had no issues with defective parts or parts not working. My son rides it daily and we are thrilled to have found a 14" bike in his favorite character!
