These two Duncan yo-yos are perfect for beginners. The Duncan LimeLight saves it's non-rechargable batteries by only lighting up during the spin. It is perfect for 2A Looping tricks. The Duncan Mosquito has a good spin time, and a light-wieght design. It is customized for 1A string tricks. The LimeLight has a wood axle and the Mosquito has a high-speed ball-bearing axle. I think I like the Mosquito's ball-bearing axle a little better because it holds out for longer which is good for beginners. The Mosquito is perfect for high-speed string play also, which makes learning those type of tricks easier. The Duncan Mosquito seems to get it's string twisted more often than the LimeLight, for the LimeLight has a better quality string, but both are thoroughly enjoyable and the performance is great. I wouldn't reccomend this to pros or anyone willing to pay a lot for a yo-yo, but if you are looking for a cheap, long-lasting double set that gives you the best of both worlds, you're in the right place.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
