we got these diapers because a friend showed me her cocalo diaper and i loved the concept of tucking in a cloth diaper that was too small to be used as a regular prefold.. i thought it would be great when my little one would grow out of his smaller prefolds.. it works pretty well.. my hubby likes them.. the look is sleek although with the folded up prefolds in them they can get pretty big.. we haven't bought the liners just the 6 pack of pockets that snap in and out in case poopies get out of hand.. the only problem i have with them is that i can't seem to keep the poopies contained.. granted my 2 month old recently started fitting into the mediums that we bought so he may be on the short side of fitting them, but overall they are great.. i'm still having a bit of trouble wrangling child and diaper when things get messy, but i feel like that would be something only i can work out and not a problem with the diaper.. for cost, we initially bought prefolds and covers, but i'm so glad we discovered gdiapers as we can stretch our existing collection of prefolds into using them well beyond the fitting period..

be sure to fasten the velcro to itself at all times.. my husband threw one in the wash without doing so and the velcro proved its strength by fastening itself to the cloth body of the cover and being very hard to separate and when we pulled it off it ruined the parts that it had attached to..

I am a mom of 6 boys and have always used disposable diapers. I reluctantly decided to finally try cloth diapers and after online research and price options decided to buy these and the flip day pack. I love the G diaper. I have had no leaking problems and they are less bulky than the flip. I only wish they came with inserts. I have been using them with the flip inserts and it has been great. I wish I would have done this a long time ago. I am using them on a breast fed 2 month old. I put soiled diapers in a pail with detergent until time to wash. I recommend this product to anyone. I am a very busy mom and this has been a wonderful product so far. Much less difficult than I had always thought.

I really wanted to love these. After all, I could get so much use out of them. I was going to be able to use the cloth inserts at home, and the flushable inserts while out of town.

The problem is that it leaks. I have to double up on the cloth inserts if using those. It takes double the time to put the gPant on my little guy because you have to make sure the snap in liner is in just the right place. Though even if you do you can still have leaks like I do. Even when I change him every hour and a half.

That being said, I don't hate them. I still use them, but not very often.
