The costume had to be returned.The costume was disappointing in the sizing. Although the sizing was 3 to 6X, my 5 year old granddaughter could not comfortably wear this costume. It would be great for a much smaller child.

My daughter absolutely loves this and the adventure dress. The only issue I had with this one is that the first one I bought was ripped w/in a day. The seam between the satin and the mesh material wasn't strong and like so many of those satiny dresses, it fell apart. Too quickly. I had to return it the next day. I exchanged for another and checked the seams first and so far we're going on a week w/ no tear though I noticed another area where the seam is loose. Some of this I can repair myself but it definitely will need help if your child is like mine and wears it every day while jumping around, pretending she is Merida. If it hadn't ripped so quickly, I'd have rated it higher.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
