Return of Marvel Legends Klaw

In my Ghost Rider review, I mentioned that Hasbro had really taken steps in the right direction. Klaw really contradicts thats sentiment. First the good. His newly sculpted parts are very nice. His head looks just like the comic, and his sound emitter is very detailed. His paint, on first look, appears sharp, but on closer inspection...

His zig-zags on his costume are done with a template, obviously, which is fine, except the template doesn't go all the way around his waist. On both of the Klaw figures i have, the lines don't match up on the sides where the two templates meet. Also, on both of them, they didn't get the head lined up for the paint, and the zig-zags don't match up with the sculpted detail. Overall, his paint disappoints when paired against other figures in this wave. He looks much more plastic and toy like than the others. Speaking of plastic, they used a real rubbery plastic for his legs, and on both figures i have his legs were hopelessly warped. If you didn't know about the heating and bending method for fixing that, you'd never get him to stand up. Also his sound emitter is made from an even more rubbery plastic, and the dome of it on both figures was really warped and caved in.

All in all, I'd say my strong disappointment for this guy comes from how good most of the other figures in this wave came out. Its a bummer knowing that Hasbro can do so well, and then relegate a long awaited character to a bad base body with bad QC. I'd really only recommend him if you were either dying to get a Klaw figure, or need the Terrax piece.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

marvel legends klaw.such a great figure.the whole wave is awsome.cant wait to get everyone of them.if your a marvel legends collecter your goona love it.i think the body mold could of been a little better,but its still great.i dont reccomend this to kids under 12.this is a collectors item.
