We bought this set for our first daughter, and it has helped up very well. All of the storage compartments in the different sized baskets have been super useful. The laundry bin takes the most abuse, and it has held up very well. The paint has not chipped or gotten onto the walls like it did with the espresso colored baskets we looked at. The set is a little pricey, but worth it if you can use a 20% off coupon or a giftcard.

Okay, they're not perfect. I'll admit that I did not take any of the liners out to wash them before using them. I did wash the hamper liner once after a diaper disaster got some clothes extra dirty and it came out just fine. I can tell you the biggest con about these baskets is that they don't take abuse very well. Some of the pieces splinter and break and sometimes you'll find white dust or little sticks at the bottom of a basket or the hamper. The hamper has taken the most damage, but I just leave it in its corner now and take the clothes out and put them in something else for transport. The little garbage can is just a great matching addition to the set.

Other than that, this set has been AMAZING! Just to look at, they are adorable. The most useful pieces are the three baskets. I use the sectioned basket at my diaper station. The large section has diapers, one small section has the powder and diaper cream, and the other small section contains odds and ends that I use while at the changing station (thermometer, petroleum jelly, lotion, nose suction bulb, nail clippers).

The larger of the other two baskets is used for a toy basket. My daughter is 6 months old and it fits most of her small, simple toys. We are just starting to have too many to fit all of them. However, my family takes road trips a couple of times a month to visit family so it works great to pack the toys.

The smaller basket also is incredibly useful for travelling. We pack her baby monitor and sound machine in it now. Its useful to have all her things in separate baskets to know where something is instead of digging through a huge bag. I really do not know what I would do without these when we're packing the car up for a trip!

I'm a mom to be and we bought this for our nursery. Thought it seemed like a great idea and was happy to see the fabric was washable so I could make sure everything was clean for my newborn. I followed the instructions on the packaging to wash the fabric part of each basket, and when I put everything back together, two of the pieces had holes in them. The trash can had a small hole, which I could have overlooked if the hamper hadn't a hole the size of my hand. On our way to return and either re-buy and try again or purchase something different. :(
