I usually don't write reviews but I hope this will be helpful to someone else. I have tried the BRU, Avent, and Nuk. I think they are best to worst in that order. (I also tried washable and seem to have no luck with those as well.) My experiences may be due to having a size 34DD before milk and a very strong flow (pumping 5 oz in 2.5 min) so I have to change pads often at times and need a lot of absorbency.

Nuk is by far the worst. They were thin which some may like for discrepency but I cared more for function at this point. The absorbency is what I would compare to paper, it almost did not absorb at all. They were also fairly uncomfortable, had no sticky part, and left lines. No wrapper as well so not good for traveling.

Avent is slightly better as the absorbency is compared to a thin pad. There are not as many lines but the uncomfortable part was the sticky part and the wetness they left on my breast. The sticky part did not work at all but came off of the pad and stuck on the bra and after having to painfully remove sticky material from my nipple I quit using the tabs.

BRU brand is amazing! The sticky tabs have always worked fine for me. No lines on them they are just flat. The absorbancy is like a diaper, sometimes the entire thing is filled and a 1/4 of an inch thick with milk! I feel like I could squeeze it out but my breasts and bra are dry, unlike the other brands. No complaints about these.

Im a first time mom and i'm exclusively breastfeeding, i always wear breastpads to save myself the embarresment of leaking in public! I started using lansinoh breast pads but since i go through a box of 60 in about 2 weeks. i saw the BRU brand and figured they might work the same and i could save myself some money.
Big mistake! At first they looked the same but they were super bulky, they wouldn't stay in place and would bunch up inside the lining and look horrible under my shirts. The worst part was that it wouldnt absorb and it would leave my chest wet, it was very unpleasant. I ended up returning them and getting my usual lanisoh brand, no more experimenting for me!!!

I have used the breast pads since having my first daughter in 2007 after trying several other brands without much success. These are a nice large size that adequately fits the DD breasts that come with nursing for me. They are incredibly wonderful when engorged in the morning (full coverage, large size, and high absorbency are a nursing moms best friend)They are very comfortable, light weight and nearly undetectable under clothing. I can tell you that even when compared to costlier brands, these are by far the best nursing pads I have ever used, that's why I still choose them when now expecting my third baby girl.

Comments about Babies R Us 1011187 Babies R Us 74-Ct Nursing Pads:

The pads have been working fine for me. They are very absorbent and I haven't had any leaks. They generally stay in place and I don't bother using the sticky part, but I don't have a large cup size so they mostly cover most of my breast. They don't show through my shirt, though this may also be due to my smaller cup size and thier coverage.

My only complaint is that they are so itchy around the edges. The plastic seem around the edge folds to conform to the round breast and those folds scratchy and are itchy. I also sweat alot at night in them, not sure if this is from residual hormones or from the pads. The itching is so bad I am going to try some other brands.

I have been using nursing pads for 13mo and just recently purchased these as I was in the store. I will never use them again! I have gone through a lot of breast pads the past 13mo and have never found ones that I really didn't like until these. They cause your breasts to sweat, they smell terrible, and need to be changed so frequently! Never buy these! Personally, Johnson and Johnson are my favorite, and are a good price!

These are, by far, the WORST nursing pads I have ever used. They have 1 sticky tab, and when you pull off the paper from the tab, the sticky stuff comes off and gets stuck to your fingers. The sad part is that they don't stick to clothing very well. They bunch up and fold (and stick to skin...ouch!), and look horrible through clothing. The only pro is that (when I can get them to stay in place), I've never had a leakage problem. I'd rather pay double for another brand than to use these again.

I've been using this product since Feb 2012. The BRU boxes used to be YELLOW, and now they are PURPLE. I loved the old boxes and packing; the pads were individually wrapped in a satin-like plastic with an easy open tab. They held up great and I could easily pack a few in my diaper bag.

Now, they are cheaply packed! Although, they are still individually wrapped, the new PURPLE box uses a thiner-tight plastic lining w/no tab, bunching all of the pads- creating a bulky look once opened. The pads are stuffed in this little box and don't keep their shape. I will be returning this product.
