My daughter LOVES her Hotwheels...so when she earned this purchase of a Wall Track she was really excited. So I was at first concerned about the set-up going to be daunting cause of the proper placement of the track pieces, but upon opening the box I found that they had thought this through and had included a very nice and easy to follow template. After assembling and following the directions to a 'T' we encountered some problems. ***Problem #1: When using the car included with the track, it didn't even make it past the first jump ***Problem #2: the brackets that snap into the part on the wall don't stay clicked together very well ***Problem #3: we even tried some of the other cars she owns with the track and still same results, car doesn't even jump past first ramp.
So I am not completely sure what to think of the product, as many other pieces of our Hotwheel collection have been outstanding and made her very happy.
If in the market for purchasing this exact track, I would reconsider and go with another style track.

We already have the Wall Tracks Starter Pack. I've been on the hunt for expansion packs since Christmas. Order this online, was lucky since they didn't seem to have them in stock for very long for online ordering.

We did set this up as an expansion to the rest of the wall track system. So, the Flame Basket at the end isn't being used.

If you look at the picture, in the first section, there is a wheel. That wheel seems to be there to help push the cars along, to give them enough momentum to make the jump.

Here's the problem with that wheel....

If the car is too long, it can't go through that wheel without getting stuck. If the car is too small, it doesn't get the necessary push from the wheel to make the jump. This wheel also some times doesn't seem to go back to the weighted start position, so no matter the size or weight of the next car, it simply won't make the jump.

When this track works, it's great. We had moments when 10 cars can go through it, they all make the jump and that's really cool. Then we'll have 10 cars go through it and none of them make the jump, which blows.

I still like this toy because when it does work, it's pretty cool. I just wish that wheel worked better than it does right now.
