The directions are simple as is the assembly. But the molding on the deck piece where the slide fits in is smaller than the width of the slide. Therefore assembly can not be completed and no further comments can be made. Except that we live out in the country and the huge inconvenience and time wasted is disappointing. We would expect that childrens toys would have a tighter quality control inspection.

We bought this for our 1 year old daughter to play with outside. She absolutely loves it!!! Easy to put together & can do so in a few hours. The sandbox portion is small, so we use it as a ball pit & drilled holes in the bottom for drainage. Awesome idea because she loves the ball pit!!! Overall, great product & used tons!!!

My daughter loves this toy! It was easy to put together too. The slide is short so this is really best for small children 3 and under probably, but the sandbox is great for slightly older ages. Definitely recommend this product.

Love this item for children first learning to climb. I have twins, one walking and the other crawling. They were premies and my little one is still learning her balance. My boy has mastered it all. They both love playing on this structure. I have it on our balcony so it is the perfect size (our balcony is enclosed and safe for this). We turned the sandbox into a ball pit and they are laughing out there all the time! It was a gift to them from my mother in law. We are so happy she got this for them!! I recommend this to anyone. It is also a reasonable price and super cute too. I have all sorts of ideas for the boat sandbox that do not include sand. We will use it for a ballpit, beans, toy box and more. Great piece!

We have two grandson's four days apart in age. We bought each grandson this product for their 1st birthday.

This is an excellent gift and built very sturdy. It's the perfect size for little tykes to play on, safe and very colorful.

The only thing about this product is the sand box cover lid does not fit tight and if you were to have sand in the box, the sand will get wet. The grandson's parents decided not to use sand but to use colorful plastic play balls. This works perfect! Drill little holes in the bottom so if rain water does get in, the water will drain properly. This product is perfect for outdoors but the sand box is not rain resistant.

Product suggestion would be to fix the sand box lid to fit properly and tight where water will not get in. Other than the lid not fitting tight, this is a great gift and the little one's absolutely love it!

Yes, I would recommend this product to others.

The parts don't fit together. And I don't mean that they need a bit of pushing. They DON'T fit at all. The instructions let you know that you will need two people to assemble (screw you single moms!) But even with 2 people the parts don't fit. Instructions tell you you will need a screw driver. Since the places that you have to put screws don't have any holes (!) you will need more than a screw driver. And did I mention that the parts don't fit together? It's in pieces in my back yard. Awful product. OH! And when I got it, "new" it was all dinged up. Scratches all over the sides. It looks like it was dragged across a street. Also, when they say "free delivery" with a purchase over 49 bucks...what they mean is they will take a bit off the delivery but still charge you some and taxes. So my purchase of [$] actually cost me almost [$]. Nice.

I bought this for my daughters 1st birthday, she still needs help playing on it seeing as she doesn't understand she can fall off it and hurt herself. The age says 18 months+, I would say that's accurate. She loves climbing up the slide and playing in the sandbox, we bought it on sale and I definitely think it was worth the price especially since we will be able to use it for years to come. We have 50lbs of sand in it and it is still light weight enough to were I can move it a little to have the shade block the sun from the sandbox. It is a very sturdy structure and was fairly easy to put together although much easier with a drill as opposed to a screw driver like the instructions recommends. Overall, I think it was a great purchase and would recommend to others.

This is a very sturdy versatile toy and I definitely recommend it. I wanted a climber/slide for my 21 month old and I did a lot of research before deciding on this one. I think I made a good choice for the price compared to other choices. I like that you can use this without attaching the boat sandbox because we are using it in our living room. The steps are so easy for my son which is one reason I picked it. They are much better than the arched rockwalls that most other slides have. The slide is an ok size (about 20 inches off the ground) and my 33 inch son loves going down it over and over. I don't like the bump at the bottom though. It just doesn't have the smoothness like the slide on the Step2 Kangaroo climber, but that is bulkier and more money. In the end I am really happy with this piece. Even without the boat attached it's super sturdy and doesn't budge even with my son jumping on the platform. I recently added the boat which you can do without screwing it in for easy removal. Instead of sand I put about 50 or so balls which works nicely without making it too full. My son likes to climb in there and roll balls down the slide. I also like that I can take it off and move it outside later when he's ready for sand while keeping the slide inside. He plays with it a lot and uses up his energy so we are both happier since we bought this!
