I have a 3 1/2 year old and a 5 month old (both of my kids are very tall for their age, wearing 5t and 12 month clothes) but both fit comfortably in this stroller. Both enjoy the rear facing seat (which is why I purchased this stroller) as well as the forward facing seat. I love that the front seat reclines flat for nap time. The rear facing seat is great, since my 5 month old often got fussy in his stroller that faced forward all the time, and in this one I can interact with him while he is still strapped in.
There are a few things I would change though. I am fairly tall (5'9") and when walking I frequently hit the standing platform on the bottom. It is more annoying than anything, doesnt' cause any problems, I just have to hold my arms out a little more. I would also have made the rear facing seat recline as well. I have not tried to use it as a "sit and stand" yet, so I cannot comment on how I like that feature. But overall both my kids LOVE this stroller, and it has more of the features that I wanted than the other sit and stands available. Oh, and I love the pattern! It is a lot brighter than pictured, and it works well for both my son and daughter :0)

I have a 2 year old and 4 month old and this stroller allows me to get out of the house to take walks or go to the park and still allows me to "control the chaos". It isn't terribly hard to steer but it does provide an upper body workout after a long outing. I like that it isn't as long as most of the other tandem strollers out there and I love all the seating options. The one complaint I have is that the back seat doesn't recline at all, and since that is the choice spot for the 4 month old, I feel bad that he looks so uncomfortable when he falls asleep on our walks. Looking back, I wish I would have got a side by side stroller instead since I will mostly be using it for walks and trips to the zoo and theme parks...

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Oasis:

I love the many riding options! I have an almost 3 year old and a 3 month old? I love the baby facing me in the snugride car seat and the back stroller seat. If the Older one doesn't want to sit in the stroller it is so easy to take back set off and he can stand or sit on the bench and the car seat can snap on the front. The only disadvantage is that it barely fits in my car and I have a Flex. I have to remove the food tray to fit it in. And the matching cars seat only comes in snugride dxl.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Oasis:

We initially bought the Stand and Ride from Graco because we'd had such great luck with our Graco stroller and carriers and wanted something that at least kind-of matched what we already had. After we received it via online order, we were really surprised at the underwhelming quality of this Stroller and within a day of receiving it had already returned it to the local store (as they will accept online returns). We then bought a Baby Trend model and love it...plus Baby Trend is compatible with Graco stuff so it worked out for us and we saved some $. Save yours too and (while it may not color match your stuff) go with Baby Trend. Besides, if you are getting this because you have a toddler and an infant, the toddler wont be in it too long to begin with.

not the best =(

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Oasis:

I have had this stroller for 5 months to use with my infant and 3 year old.

Set-up was not too tricky, although I had to get my husband to help with connecting the wheels.

Putting the carseat in the back, rear-facing seat was confusing. It clicks in easily; but then you have to "strap" it in and it barely fit. I called the company and they said it's supposed to be hard.

My 3 year old daughter does not really fit comfortably in the front seat. She drags her feet on the ground in front because that seat is too small.

The brake is attached to a large plastic piece that gets in the way. I am constantly stepping on it while walking or jogging.

It is VERY difficult to get into the basket. It's a big basket; but what's the use if it's gonna be hard to get things in and out.

The stroller is not easy to push, especially with the heavier child up front. It doesn't help that I live in a hilly area.

I was so excited about this new stroller; but am very disappointed in it and I will probably end up getting a better one soon.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Oasis:

      Pros:
      * rear-facing back seat (solved my daughter's hatred of strollers problem)
      * removable back seat for a sit and stand
      * large storage basket, easy to get into
      * thought not manufacturer recommended, it is possible to turn the back seat forward facing
      * it is possible to place a different brand carseat in the back seat for a travel system, but not all of them will necessarily click in

      Cons:
      * extremely hard to remove seat fabric for washing
      * handles like a bus; nearly impossible to steer with the bigger child in the front seat (he is about 30 pounds; little one is about 18)
      * doesn't fold compactly; takes up most of my "trunk" space in a Toyota Highlander
      * heavy!!!
      * useless parent console

Bottom Line: After test driving other strollers that have rear-facing seats, this one won due to price and manuverability, but it is far from being my ideal double stroller. It gets the job done, and if you want an added bonus, the effort you spend hefting this thing in/out of the car and forcing it to steer down store aisles can substitue for a trip to the gym.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Oasis:

Having a newborn boy and a 2 1/2-year-old boy is enough work and this product makes the job easier. I feel like I am able to get out into the world again! Both boys fit comfortably in the double stoller and I enjoy how easy it is to push it. With 12 different seating options I know I will use this stroller for many years.
The only problem is I have to take off three pieces of the stoller to fit it in the trunk of my Dodge Avenger, which is an normal sized trunk. It is a little annoying taking off two trays and the sun shades to fit it in the trunk, but this will not keep me from using it since it is such a great product.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Oasis:

I wanted to use this stroller for my 3 year old and 8 month old. It did not work out great for us. My 3 year old does like to sit when we take walks so I had the stroller set up where my 8 month old was in the small seat attachment facing me bc she is a real petite baby, and my 3 year old in the front. Well that didn't work out because the front seat is too shallow that my 3 year old would end up with her legs hanging out and dragging on the ground. It was awful. She could not get comfortable. I can see this stroller working as a sit and stand but once your kid that wants to sit is big it will no longer work because of the shallow seat. Then it is obselete. I remembering reading that about the seat in some reviews but I thought since both my girls are small to average it wouldn't be a problem but I was wrong. I think in an effort to make this stroller not as long as other tandems they took inches off some of the most important parts. I also thought it had two forward facing tandem seats like the baby trend but I was wrong. What i did like about it was the small seat attachment that my little girl could sit in and face me. That's all I liked about it.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Oasis:

We bought the Graco Ready 2 Grow stroller over the internet and returned to store day after arriving. The front seat which is supposed to be for the larger child while carseat is in back position, is not large enough for my 2 1/2 yo to fit comfortably. It's to shallow, and she kept sliding out and legs hung over the footrest which was to high for comfort. Very disappointed also that the only carseat it would accept was a Graco.
We bought the Baby Trend sit and stand double instead and am very happy with that one. That one accepts several kinds of car seats and is very comfy for my 2 1/2yo daughter.

Comments about Graco Ready2Grow LX Stand & Ride Stroller - Oasis:

I purchased this stroller because I wanted to use one stoller for my 3 yr old and newborn. And I wanted to make sure my 3 yr old could recline and take a nap on long outings. This stroller is great because it has a lot of flexability. The front seat is a little small but my 3 yr old has not complained. The front seat does recline but not very far (maybe 1/2 way). The parent tray is designed poorly b/c the tray is shallow and when using an infant seat in the back seat position it is not accesible. Changing the set up of the seat positions is fairly easy and I really like the small infant seat. The stroller is a little difficult to steer when my 3 yr old is in the front but managable. I really like this stroller and would recommend it to my friends.
