Comments about Evenflo 1001211 Evenflo SecureRide35 Infant Car Seat Base - Gunmetal:

This much nicer than the base that comes with the travel system. We purchased for the second vehicle, but it is now in the primary vehicle. Tethers are ratcheted so they tighten down automatically when the base is pushed into position and you can really get a much tighter hold than with the default product. Package states that the product is for the Symphony carseat, but confirmed with Evenflo that it it is compatible with the SecureRide 35.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
