bought as a gift. When first opened was so stiff that even the adults could not make the spring go down. My 40 pound niece could not make it budge! After several adults repeatedly pushed the mechanism, my niece was eventually able to make it bounce. Hopefully it will continue to loosen up! Initially was very disappointed. It was a horrible feeling to give a gift that could not be enjoyed!

I bought this pogo stick for my 4 yr old, 42 pound daughter because the box states it is for ages 3 and up. I am returning it because she is not heavy enough to bounce it. I think the box should state for 80 pound and up because my husband and I enjoyed using it.....but not my 42 pound daughter!

I bought this for my 6 year old. She is very tall for her age and weighs about 72 pounds solid. The box says 60 lbs. max but when she steps on it it doesn't budge she really has to bare down and jump. My 6 foot 4 inch 245 lb. husband even stepped on it first to make sure and it was very sturdy for him as well. He just used one foot because he did not want to break it. I would definitely recommend this product. Enjoy!

this was a great toy for my kids they put it together easy.as i type my kids of the ages 7 and 10 are out side on there new toies. the one bad thing is that if your kid is to tall they will have to bend down.
