The Fisher-Price Take-Along Musical Mobile is the only two in one mobile that cna be used in the crib and on the go! The friendly giraffe from the Discover n' Grow line holds the detachable wind up musical unit (music will play for up to 2 1/2 minutes). There are three plastic characters with soft details that gently spin over baby. Characters include lion, monkey and elephant. The base attaches easily to a variety of crib styles with a new vinyl strap attachment method. The base unit has a full color highly detailed label. For the on the go play the mobile unit detaches from the giraffe armature and links to any stroller canopy.

My son loves watching the animals go round and round. It plays "Beautiful Dreamer" which is a nice change from the more common lullabies. You have to wind it up before it will play. Pro: doesn't require batteries. Con: it might wake baby up to go crank it up again when baby is almost asleep. It also took me a couple tries before I was able to attach it to his crib, but it wasn't that difficult.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

this product is not worth the money. stops turning after a minute, have to continuously crank it up and after two weeks stopped working altogther.

This is such a terrible product. 1. a pain to put together 2. turns so slow 3. doesnt fit all cribs 4. music stops and it stops turning within 1 miute.. 5. uninteresting to children. it barely caught my 4 month old daughters attention. 6. Hard to disassemble i am bringing it back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I bought this and returned it the very next day. First of all, the spinning of the toys was so slow that I wasnt sure it was even moving. Also, I though how nice that it would wind up and not need batteries except no matter how much you twisted it still lasted a minute (if even that). I went to by a mobile becuase we were at a friends and my daughter was so attracted to the one she had for her son so I thought maybe I should buy one. My daughter paid no attention to it at all. Not worth the money!!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought this mobile because it was inexpensive and liked the bright colors. However, was disappointed because after winding up the mobile the spinning didn't last more than 2 minutes. My daughter loved watching the toy, but would be upset when it stopped spinning.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
