      hard to clean the nooks and crannies under the top and difficult to take apart for a thorough cleaning, under the flip top and in the bending part of the straw can get grimey and moldy because they are impossible to clean without pulling out the straw then taking an object such as the handle of the spoon to pop off the flip top. and the other part of the straw let in air when ever it didn't fall off first.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        I bought those cups cause I like their design & that's why I gave it a star for the look. The company claim their leak proof but that's not true they do leak even when you put their lid on cause apparently the lid does not touch/ press the tip of the nipple. I bought that cup twice thinking that the first was defective but both were the same way. If I put it in the bag & take it out to use I would find the milk/ juice what ever in their spilled in the lid & making a mess. The company need to redesign their cup nipple & lid.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
