This sippee cup seemed great when I first bought it but turns out I was wrong. It is way too difficult to take apart when cleaning. Too many parts and just the most frustrating baby product I've worked with thus far. The suction is ok for my 13 month old but not great. There seems to be a lot of air/bubbles that come up when he is drinking. If you are a mom who washes bottles and sippee cups by hand then I would not recommend this one for you. The only good thing about it is that you can hide the straw when traveling and it doesn't spill or drip when turned upside down. Oh also it doesn't have a measuring indicator on the bottle so you never know how much liquid you are pouring in for your child to drink. The main reason we got this was to transition from the bottle to the cup and I probably should have gotten something else.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Have a 1 and 2 yr old they seem to enjoy using the cups with straws like big boys. Allot to put together as far as cups go but its not too difficult just time consuming. Planning to buy more.
