I cannot stand this toy, and my 12 month old doesn't like it either. She is not a timid child, so for her not to like a toy is atypical of her. The song is energetic to point of being obnoxious and too loud, and if you have any carpet on your floors, it gets stuck. When it gets stuck, it doesn't automatically shut off; it continously plays background music, and the cat gives a creepy little laugh. I would like it a lot more (and I think my daughter would as well) if you could turn off the movement part of it and just press the buttons.

My son is 20 mo old and just got this for Christmas. He loves cats so this was a huge hit! He loves just carrying it around, even wants to take it to bed with him.

On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this toy a 10. My neice and nephew really enjoyed running behind Kitty; and kitty chasing them. A fun toy for children. Will keep them busy. You will need plenty of batteries on hand.

We love this toy. My daughter chases it and laughs. I love how it turns around when something is in it's way and finds its way out of the corners. This is like a mini robot! If it could pick it self up after the kids knock it over, it would be perfect! This is a great interactive toy for a good price.

I got this for my 18 month old son during a BOGO sale. I never really wanted to pay for it but I thought it looked kind of cute so I picked it for my free item. At first my son who is shy of new things was curious about it but only from afar. He wouldn't go up and touch it until we had it for a few days and my husband sat and played with him. Now he really likes it and plays with it everyday. It rolls great on our wood floors but gets stuck when it hits the playmat in our living room. It has cute music and phrases and the motion sensors are neat because it will go forward or backward or turn around to avoid things (it doesn't always work though). There are only 3 buttons to push on it but my son likes to go over and press them and watch the kitty go. He doesn't really chase it but picks it up by the tale and carries it around. I think he just likes to hear the music and dances to it sometimes. Overall I am happy with it and wish we got it when he was younger. He would have probably liked to crawl after it when he was little but right now it's no match for his running!

This is such a cute toy. It talks and sings and tells you to chase it and off it goes. It easily went from our wood floors to carpet and kept on going which surprised me. We bought it for our 14 month old but my 3.5 year old loves it as well. Unfortunaly neither of them will leave it alone long enough for it to run away. I have to play with them and remind them to set it back down so they can chase it again. It hold there attention for about 10 min at a time. Over all it's a cute toy but has no real learning value to it. Fun for good crawlers and new walkers.
